Smart move.. he is an imposter of a first grade rugby league player …MBYE told that he will not be retained in 2024.
Des and DCE after the rainbow jersey.St George Management are a bunch of idiots.
Feel sorry for Liddle and Musgrave having to front the media after the Bent hunt Saga

It is at SOO time.😂Hey neddy, taree ain't in QLD
JT wouldn’t have missed Rein he loved having more hookers than Kings Cross.I cannot believe we missed Mitch rein.. seemed a standout signing according to our previous criteria… maybe they are starting to get their act together,,, rejecting schuster and trading Talau for Fainu would convince me of that!
Don’t be silly, with the above info there is no way we even look at him , we only look at duds 🥴Apparently Kayal Iro wants to explore other opportunities given his lack of opportunity from the Sharks. 2022 NSW Cup Player of the Year, regularly making 200m per game at centre, big tackle busts stats, good defence & versatile to play fullback & backrow which he played in the World Cup.
Looks like my friend was right. He said his brother sat next to Pascoe on the plane up to Magic round and told him Brooks was going to Manly, loose.A good friend has told me Brooks to Manly. Just a rumour
In a massive coup, Manly is poised to secure Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks.
The DT understands the deal will span three years and be announced shortly.
Brooks’ recruitment – joining incumbent Daly Cherry-Evans - will give Manly another halves combination from next season.
After 11 seasons with Wests Tigers, Brooks, 28, elected against re-signing at Concord.
He had previously been linked to Canterbury, St George Illawarra and North Queensland.
Brooks could sign a two-year contract at Brookvale but it’s more likely a three-season deal.
He was on a whopping deal worth $1.15m this year at Wests Tigers.
Brooks’s new deal at Manly could be worth around $2m over three seasons. (DT)
All the best.
His actual worth is 3 post COVID rolls of toilet paper. So Brooks gets about $680-690 ish at Manly good luck to him he'll do well next to DCE, where does that leave Schuster doubt he signs that 3 yr offer now.
We were never going to pay Brooks that but its far closer to his actual worth than what we were paying him at the end.
It happens in many sports like the NBA and NHL, however those clubs going for a championship give up talented youngsters/draft picks in exchange for an aging veteran who adds more immediate value for a title chasing team. They should release him at the end of the season. I'm totally opposed to teams competing for a premiership being able to sign a player like Ben Hunt for a third of a season.
