The Sharks have already said they won't stand in Trindalls way if a club signs him, No club would block the deal for a 2nd or 3rd string player, we just have to hand over a few dollars.
Hope your right, he’s the perfect fit for us I reckon. When have the guppies said they won’t stand in his way? I haven’t read that anywhere. The Sharks have already said they won't stand in Trindalls way if a club signs him, No club would block the deal for a 2nd or 3rd string player, we just have to hand over a few dollars.
That's a fair pointTo be fair the club has a crack at Munster, Moses, Pearce and Johnson in recent months with pretty decent bids put up for each, so they have identified the need for a 7. Can’t blame them for trying to get a gun / mature 7 as a first port of call. I think it is realistic that we are only looking at up and comers and good KOE players now as a second wave of potential recruitment.
Posted the article below yoshii Haven’t heard that, if true it’s good news
Unfortunately we have ‘nobody’I thought Cogger is going ok, laid on a try with a pin point grubber, he is better than what we have
Found the article not sure how on point zero tackle is though.Hope your right, he’s the perfect fit for us I reckon. When have the guppies said they won’t stand in his way? I haven’t read that anywhere.
low base not hard to better than wakeham and at present all we have is an injured AD for 2024I thought Cogger is going ok, laid on a try with a pin point grubber, he is better than what we have
Really? He had a great gameWatching Cogger tonite, his NOT the answer
Everything I've read suggested that Wighton was going to play left centre next yearlow base not hard to better than wakeham and at present all we have is an injured AD for 2024
Ilias maybe if souths were to let him go and go with Cody and wighton in halves?
I think you a right mate just curious if they went with Walker and wighton in halves.Everything I've read suggested that Wighton was going to play left centre next year
That’s pretty true, unless we jag a dirty Pom!It’s pretty much Trindall or bust for us now. I believe he is the only attainable half that could make a real difference for us NEXT year.
Not singling you out - but this is the basis of everyones nuffie suggestions. Better than what we have could literally be anyone.I thought Cogger is going ok, laid on a try with a pin point grubber, he is better than what we have
Volkman is only 20 though, he's still a rookie and I think given the chance he'd go wellNot singling you out - but this is the basis of everyones nuffie suggestions. Better than what we have could literally be anyone.
Realistic or not, we need an experienced half who has proven they can control a team. Not a reserve grader slotting into a nice system and looking decent.
Not Cogger. Not Metcalf. Not Volkman. Not any flavour of the month career first grader.
You lost me at "To be fair..."To be fair the club has a crack at Munster, Moses, Pearce and Johnson in recent months with pretty decent bids put up for each, so they have identified the need for a 7. Sounds like Benji's dream protegé!I haven't been impressed with Metcalf in any game. Poor passing, puts his outside men under pressure and plays sideways.
I can only think good news for us from this. Both Taaffe and Illias on the outer at Souths. Next year Cody at 1/2, Wighton 5/8, Graham and Ethan Furguson centres.
