Referees tend to support the winning side. Pure psychology. And refereeing decisions can multiply differences. NSW got flogged in Origin 2, but two terrible try calls have QLD a huge lead. Referees shouldn't be making winning scorelines bigger.

Why is it whenever WT play away from Sydney, they play like crap? Is it holiday thinking is allowed to creep in with other fun activities planned for time not in the match? Do we need to keep them focused and not in fun mode? FFS Get a sports psychologist. Also, why was Bateman selected after such a return trip from GB? Assuming it is allowed in his contract he should have been not selected to play- you cant avoid jetlag.

This is an embarrassment. Other teams can strengthen their roster before August, we sure have to. Halves especially- dont care if a second stringer, we need options for the rest of season. Also I'd pay out Doueihi and Laurie and make their spots available to new signings. Whats the point in holding to 30 spots against them now?
