We literally have no one else to replace Simpkin with. And Simpkin is not an 80 minute player.

It isn't great for TDS, but the club has no real choice.

Rua is part of our top 30. Will Smith has played plenty of hooker. There are plenty of options other than playing a kid who is not physically up to it & risking long term injury

Rua has been injured multiple times this year, and Smith isn't an out and out 9. Really our stocks are not great, and blooding a young kid isn't the worst option.
