Well Wakeham said he wanted to stand up and own the 7, theres the result of that. In no way am i saying he's solely to blame it was a team effort but there was nothing in the way of any semblance of organistaion.
IMO today (and every other flogging we've gotten over recent years) is an indictment on how poor our succession planning, recruitment and retention is/has been
It's been a major pitfall for over a decade.
He’s a ressies player let’s be honest. He’s delivering on his pay packet but he shouldn’t be Re-signed but will as there’s nothing left to pick.

Wakeham should be moved on to the local ‘chess’ tournament where taking an eternity to decide your next move is rather prudent

100% agree @Lauren - we had 2 weeks get a new halfback but got nothing. Laurie doesn't want to play here, Wakeman is one of the worst halfbacks i have seen. You cannot wait for kids to fill the gaps and rise to the occasion. You cannot replicate 2005 all over again either.
Coaching staff need to go as well....there is no backbone in this club and the culture stinks.

But we were absolutely terrible, I thought
Dane Laurie was our best on the field, the rest were all shit, Nofo has lost all his pace and his defence helps opposition more than it helps us, same for Brent Naden, if he tried to make 10 tackles he might have made 3 or 4
All the losses they have received over time.
Yes they upset me.
BUT THIS IS SOMETHING IM STRUGGLING TO COME TO TERMS WITH.
After 77 years of being a Tiger and never being ashamed of my team.
I am now ashamed of my team.

At least 1 centre that can defend is needed. (Brad Parker?)
Staines needs to be retained, or a winger that can defend an edge is required to replace Nofa.
Halves required. Although I'll be honest- I didn't hate what Laurie offered.
Rangy backrower to break the line out wider. Fainu's bro would be ok.
Lock needs to be sorted out. Matamua needs to be fast tracked.
Bench requires more depth that creates momentum.
Defence out wide is awful. To'a waves his arms around whining too often. Naden was awful. Nofa was worse than that. Tupou can't catch confidently, but that might be the least problematic part at this point. Parker, Hiroti, Weekes, Staines would go some way to fixing our turnstyles. Bateman back to the second row to stiffen up the defence out wide. Blore is too north/south and poor laterally.

5/8 should be Laurie's for the remainder of the season (unless someone else is added- Fainu?).
If he's not up to it, so be it. But he was sound in defence & he looks the most likely in attack.
Pretty sure we know where Wakeham is. At BEST he is a developmental player. He may never be better than a part-time 1st grader. But he should be good value, and probably worthy of a squad position.
We need a kicking game. And Simpkin from dummy half is slow. Our ruck speed is lethargic.

Lee had to go he offers nothing but a set off lips that work on their own with no guidance at all
Fulton may turn out to be a good decision but to do it without input from coaching staff is so absurd and is proof the club is forking as a team and probably had the players wondering who is actually in charge of their future as they wouldn't have a clue
The club has is and always will be a shambles because everyone who plays a part in the running of the club only does so for personal satisfaction and doesn't have the club in mind at all
