I have no idea, nor do you.

Knowing this place it could’ve been provided from a cookie at the Chinese restaurant Benji & Fainu’s went to or a magic 8 ball that says above or below when shaken.
I’m not claiming to know. I didn’t say it.
I’m claiming that Lee said it amongst other things last night that make me think he has no idea how to procure the services of players.

I thought he said it pretty straight actually.

Didn’t mince any words at all.
I agree with what Braith said about it tonight, there was no accountability, it was all the board. But not who no Specifics. I give him credit for going on and I actually agree with the way they handled Brooks contract. Just want much more clarity so we as fans know who is responsible for some of the silly decisions being made atm.

I heard Lee’s interview on SEN with Voss this morning. As much as the guy, IMO, seems to be a bit of an egotistical, limelight seeking wally - he is certainly no dummy. He answered all the tough questions clearly in a straightforward manner and without hesitation.
As for leaks from within and dissention in the management ranks, it seems to me that there are some Board members with their own interests or agendas who are not acting with the benefit of the club in mind. These people need to be found out and booted.

They are well hidden. LH has been subtly shining a light on them for a while now.

He didn't say no at all - he said Absolutely - after seeing stuff being written on here that i thought was wrong i went back and watched it again - he never denied there was a deadline. I'm not defending him - i can't stand him. But to just put stuff up that is blatantly false just because you don't like the guy is wrong.
With you on this one and also no fan of Lee's. They were getting played by Moses and they knew it. That's why they put the deadline on - after hearing nothing back from Moses after meeting what they wanted. In my view it was absolutely the right thing to do but no one calls out managers and their underhanded tactics in public for obvious reasons.

Brooks wanted out for two years and Benji and Sheens fooled themselves thinking that they were enough for him to stay. He chose to leave. Coincidently Brooks form during that period was as good as we have seen for some time.

Their version of what his market value was, was determined by whom?
The board? The CEO? The coaching staff?
Someone else?

Didnt hear any figures quoted - in that interview and we all know you that you could ask 10 different people what they believe a player is getting paid/ was offered/ signed on for and you would get 10 different answers.
Don't believe it was ever about the numbers with Brooks unless we offered - something outrageous - he has been agitating for two seasons to get out and anyone who thinks that his manager was not using the club to get what he wanted elsewhere is kidding themselves. We have been victims to that all too often. If Brooks wanted to say at WTs he would be here

That is not the point.
The club has absolutely bungled our situation with our halves to the point that we are hoping guys who would be signed as depth by good clubs sign on to be our first choices.
You say if he wanted to stay he would have.
I say that if the club understood how important it was to not be left without experience in the halves for 24 they would have negotiated better. The deadline was bullyboy tactics from a club not in the position to act that way.
I’ve said multiple times I am not a Brooks supporter for halfback….however he was the best option available at that time and we didn’t treat his signature with the correct amount of urgency.
