Sign Sezer up. Seeing Wakeham, Smith and Laurie in the halves on the team sheet has had me dry wretching over the porcelain last few weeks.

Sezer is a bad option. Yet we don't seem to have better options.
I am very surprised that no Reserve grade half hasn't put their hands up other then the Fainu's.

I have zero confidence in Sezar but I hope you are right. I think our halves next year are going to be worse than this year.

They will be the worst in the comp. Who will be his partner? The guy on one leg, or the guy from MIB? The enthusiasm would be sad if it wasn’t so comical.

Ponga has played 12 of the Knights 17 games so far.
My view on the Knights is they are being coached as a team to the player’s strengths.
Gamble has been very solid this year, Hastings hasn’t really been noticeable (don’t view this as a negative as he is doing the job asked of him as a distributor playing in the middle) and Ponga since moving back to fullback is getting back to his best form.
Yep & sitting better than us on the table.

It’s unbelievable people are whingeing about signing Aidan Sezer. He’s so much better than Brandon Wakeham & is an organising halfback & goal kicker which we both need desperately & haven’t had for such a long time. We just need to sign a good running number six to partner him who can also organise a little, either Brodie Croft or Luke Metcalf would complement him well.

I wonder if all those who are saying Sezer is too old and slow were the same people who were saying Shaun Johnson was too old and slow. Look how that turned out he is killing it this year. Are they also the same people who said Hastings was a mistake because he had been away for too many years and was also slow. Now they think he is some sort of Messiah. Here’s a novel idea if he comes here give him a chance to show what he can do before tearing him apart which we all know what will happen after one bad game

I have no confidence in Sezer but I'll wait and see what happens. I had no confidence in Bateman and now I like him. I rated Hastings but I don't think he is good at all. If Sezer is as slow and nonthreatening as Hastings with the ball backed up by a weak kicking game ala Hastings we have a problem.

Benji was a 5/8 that when asked at South's played a game managing mature halfback role and proved an asset.
I'm seeing this will be the same approach for Sezar.

There is no Ponga in Team.
Manly know this with Turbo, and to their credit can play without him.
The whole Hastings saga just bites. It basically shows the club have no "plan" for Halfback. That Hastings would be brought in as a Lock is pretty redicous.
I know Demps is a Doueihi fan but the club should have punted either Doueihi or Brooks and stuck with a solid halves pair.

The reason why were saying Sezer is too Slow is that he was too slow in 2019.
Sure he fit the Canberra gameplan, he could meld into the Canberra defensive wall. You also had Rapana Leulia and another outside back who helped them score.
Sezer will do exactly the same for the Tigers gameplan as Wakeham is doing. We don't have the backs to do a strong Canberra like defense (although we do have the forward pack).
But hey, lets see Sezer come here. Your right, lets see what he can do on the field. Obviously we are not making the 8, to achieve 14 would be a feat this year.
