Hamilton game sold out, anyone else going?

Warriors gave up 2 season of home games to keep the comp going. Least we can do for them.
Not being nasty but if the warriors pulled out due to Covid , the NRL would have still gone on , they would just add a by round , simple , we offered up a home game last year so this one is just stupid , Look at the Tigers giving away home games , Not challenging the NRL with the shat way we get treated by refs ,

I’d assume soccer was a hindrance to scheduling and rather than play in another Sydney club’s territory opted to warriors
Only a guess though
With where we are at on the table what’s it really matter anyway
Just hope they put in a strong effort

not quite that simple…

the NRL was contracted to play 8 games a weekend … ( except for Origin period) and if you recall Channel 9 were looking to get out of the contract at that time

Meh, what does it matter… seasons gone, I’m actually happy we are the club doing something for the warriors to thank them for hanging in there thru covid. And let’s be honest, the soccer World Cup has taken out home grounds away regardless… we would be playing at parramatta or somewhere that doesn’t mean Jack to us. The warriors coach has done amazing things and has a tigers connection, lets make a better relationship with Benji’s home… who knows, we might surprise them.
Yeah it might be nice what we’re doing, but I don’t think the Warriors will repay us in kind. With the rare form they are in, I’m expecting them to give us our next hiding.

We’re the NRL’s doormat, we always seem to give a lot but get nothing in return.

Yeah..not true. The NRL was about to be in breach of its contract with the broadcasters.
Warriors saved the comps backside.

Stuff the Warriors, its not up to the wooden spooners to play Mr Nice guy and give two shits about a competitor. Its the NRLs duty to square it away with the Warriors, nothing to do with the Tigers. The other clubs aren't as dumb as the Tiger's though, so it makes perfect sense and even more sense that the fans are ok with the continued mediocrity of the dumbass's in the back office. Winners not losers, its a professional sport, apparently. The club should give away its licence to Perth if you don't care about giving your club EVERY opportunity to win games. Donkey's all over this club.

You’re right but you’re not right.

Well really, giving with expecting something in return isn’t really giving is it? That’s how I was raised lol

Giving the warriors our home game really threw a spanner into our top 8 aspirations…. Come on mate. If we were good enough it wouldn’t have been an issue one bit. I’d be more concerned that women’s soccer is more important than the tigers according to the powers that be…. We are denied our home grounds for what? Training fields for women’s soccer… please if someone couldn’t organise the calendar for 4 hours on a weekend night when no teams will be training anyway… then that’s what needs to be looked at… leichardt isn’t good enough for the gov to upgrade but it’s good enough for every sporting team known to man to train and play there…

The Tigers ( Pascoe) have sold the game for the money…

The “ repay the Warriors” is just fluff to try to justify it to the Tigers fans

You’re probably right TS, but given our season does it matter. And a 24,000 sellout not to be sneezed at.l financially.
If only Pascoe had demanded one cap to be purchased with each ticket we’d be rolling in it.

And let’s not forget that next year we’re going back to our roots.games at LO and CS which should ensure we shoot up the ladder.
Only thing is we have to make sure we play the right team at the right ground.
LO; Broncs,Cows, Dragons, Manly, Knights, South’s,Warriors
Parra on Easter Monday
Easts at Tamworth
CS: Penrith, Melb, , Dogs, Storm, Sharks,
Phins, Titans
