I'm sick of celebrating mediocrity and being left for another club.

No fanfare IMO for players being let go or moving on.

Celebrate the squad choosing to stay and fight

Almost agree with you....almost, I think that Mr Brooks does deserve to have some sort of fanfare.Love him or hate him IMO, any player who plays 200+ games should receive this.
Just think about it ....200+ games in the toughest sport its a no brainer. but as for the other players that are moving on and being let go, not on your life.

Meaney is the backup winger/fullback at the Storm if he doesn’t get a run in the centre’s in front of Olam I think he will end up there 18th man as he doesn’t cover the half’s or hooker like young Wishart.
If we keep Staines I don’t see the need for Meaney but if Staines moves on I would offer him the same $ that we were prepared to pay Staines as a backup.

Here’s another thought , put bula in the centres and Meaney at fullback , and I only say this to help young bula to adjust to 1st grade,

At the Members Event last night Fonua Pole said the most impressive young forward coming through was definitely Kit Laulilii. Said to expect big things. Also in the team feedback room, where they watch and analyse their games is a series of blown up still photos from every game. A moment is isolated as the week's 'effort play'. Fonua (a modest, funny guy) called it the 'the Jareem Bula' wall. And he was right. The effort plays highlighted every week were either Api or Bula.

I don't feel overly confident with bula and possibly Staines as fullback cover.

I think another top line fullback would be a good call.

Anybody still think that paying 750K and a transfer of 200k for Batman was worth it, has had 2 good games, he is COOKED, his body language and play on the weekend was well below average, and saying at least he tries hard doesn't cut it. To be earning that type of money, your elite in that position, what a waste

I won't say it of Bateman, I will say it of everyone in the forward pack bar Api...

Why aren't we dominating? Paps, Klemmer, Stefano, Twal, Bateman, Pole... Take Bateman out of it, why aren't we dominating.

I think we all know the answer. someone Sneaks past our wing 3 times and were down 18 points. We just cannot win games like that and it's very hard to keep people motivated when loosing is every weak.

Bateman is used to being in winning sides (his words). He won't want to stick around here if we are not competitive.

What concerns me is Benji’s involvement has been our red zone attack which is our biggest problem. Oh also the fact he will be head coach with less than a years’ experience coaching at any level.
