LIVE GAME Round 25 vs. Dolphins

We really need a strike centre and stronger faster winger! Nofoaluma is done. Trai Fuller would be cheap as chips, an absolute tackle breaking machine in QCup and you see what he did today! Creates things out of nothing. Ben Barba 2.0! A real diamond in the rough, would be getting so much value for money.

How is a supporter supposed to watch these Tigers games and see the BULLShit decisions from the bunker and think yeah this is not a RORT !! Disgusting bullshit yet again from the ref and the Bunker
Give it a rest all yiu do is whinge about ref's.. Victims cards are pethetic

He's way too small to play anywhere but fullback in NRL and Bula has a mortgage on it. I'd sign him still but as a backup 1 and NSW cup regular if we could get him. He's definitely got some attacking quality.

Naaaaah, Api played an incredible game.

That short kick off, and to follow it up with the kick to win it from an impossible angle/distance - crazy call to go for it, but for ONCE we get a bit of luck.

Should never have been that close, but so happy to finally get a win.

Side note #1 - I really don't think you can run with 4 forwards on the bench in the modern game.

Side note #2 - amazes me how good the refs are at calling those players out of play penalties, do they get someone in their ear? And if they do... why don't they for every call that goes missed then?

Equally amazes me the players continually get involved even though they are clearly ahead of the play the ball.

Pole has been an oustanding "find" for WTs. For a forward so young, he displays maturity and a willingness to lead from the front. We have the makings of a very good forward pack.
This doesn't get mentioned enough on here honestly. He's one of my favourites to watch, that late footwork at the line is a weapon.

Few Thoughts for 2024:

- Our backrowers in Ice and Bateman are absolute workhorses for us. I would love to see Ice get more inside ball, change of angles, such a powerful runner and link up with Bula rushing through gaps in the middle. Bateman, just needs to be given early ball, he’s not your typical hole runner, he’s a hard player to contain and got a very late offload! Feel like him and Sezer will click up a world class combination. Get ready for a huge preseason, as he’s a vital player for us

- We desperately need a strike centre and winger. Justin Olam and Connor Tracey would be elite pickups.

- Shawn Blore has so much to offer! He’s such a physical presence in the middle of the field. I would play him close to 60 mins as he’s got everything it takes to be an absolute STUD! Wouldn’t mind playing him at lock. Great post contact metres, fast play the ball and a great offload. Not to mention rarely misses a tackle. Dominates the physical contest

- Simpkin had a good game, but his service out of dummy half is one of the slowest I have ever seen. Would be fast tracking TDS as much as possible otherwise Api has got to play 80 and Bud Sullivan fill in at hooker.

I do get your position. You can’t change the refs call so just get on with it. However, Madge tried to change that culture front on. No excuses. Refs calls make a huge difference to the outcome. We could have been 18-4 and run away with it.

I hope other clubs saw Simpkin's game like some on here but all I saw was a guy who's service was so slow it stifled our attack.
That huge step, stop and pass means his runners are sometimes stationary when they get the ball, waiting for him.
His defence was better this week.
Can Api play 9 and 7 next week and pass it to himself?

Marshall made his mark already!
Our "200 passes" training paid off!
In the last 10 years, the opposition offload stat was at least three to four times better, game after game.
Offloads took us out of trouble many times today!
They created a lot of confusion as well. Have to be careful not to just do it Willy Nilly.
