Imagine if the Wighton backflip rumours eventuated. When he signed the contract he thought he was joining a stable, powerhouse club. Currently the Raiders are entrenched in the eight and things seem pretty happy there. He could be joining a sinking ship.

He’s rangy. Having been next to him recently he was taller than 175cm me but pretty lean. Once he fills out a bit he could be a good un.

Feledy has probably been one of the most consistent performers at the club since he joined. Moving up grades, scoring plenty of tries. Now is the time to invest in him and get his defence sorted for eventual first grade. I hope he is around for some time.

I agree he’s a regular try scorer in any grade, that cannot be a fluke.
He’s also very strong and knows how to run onto the ball or hit a hole at speed which is exactly what you want from a centre.
I hope I’m wrong, but I’m concerned about his defence, concerned his power and strength will not be as effective at NRL level and also concerned he’s not quick enough to overcome it.

The Blore trade offer was well over a month ago, maybe two by now. Nothing ever came of it but it was before everyone sat down and actually spoke to each other about the players they wanted to keep and sign etc. It's all over and done with now and he isn't going anywhere as I understand it, they seemed fairly confident he will sign an extension. Apparently we were looking at Hiroti from the Sharks too but I haven't heard anything else besides that

I’d be getting some of our young outside backs like Feledy some sprint training with Roger Fabris, well known for training NRL players in acceleration, power, technique & top-end speed over 30-40m.
