Latham would have been an appalling PM thank goodness he lost and left the Labor party before destroying it and then joined Hansons party

Yep, I liked Latham when he burst onto the scene but how wrong I was. Look at him now, he is a complete bastard who played Pauline like a fiddle. So many bad ones on both sides. For every Latham there's a Turnbull. For every Stuart Roberts there's a Peter Garrett.
A federal ICAC is a good idea but it only catches them or some of them. It doesn't stop[ them all from having a go.

If ICAC only catches some of them it is worth every dollar it costs us as a nation.We need honest people in our parliament no matter which side of politics that are on.

Same here re Latham. I thought at the time he was a breath of fresh air. 🙁
I've got a lot of time for Peter Garrett though.
Imo his only problem was he was too nice a bloke for the dirty game of politics.

He didn’t come out of the pink batts saga at all well. He may have been the fall guy for Rudd and others but he was up to his neck in it too. He was out of his depth.

Far better suited to whinging about things rather than fix them.
Heart was in the right place but he had no idea really.
 
Murdoch resigns from his position, as the biggest and now out of his control monster that he created, is also still profiting from the gullible, but getting closer to various jury decisions on a prison cell home.
