That's the thing about Campbelltown, people want WT to invest in Campbelltown. But Campbelltown, (community, council, Leagues Club, invest little to the Tigers.

Really? Paying for our juniors out there and sponsoring the Wests Tigers isn't enough? I bet your complaint doesn't apply to Balmain. Because they contribute nothing.

Do we need to review the review? I believe the people who put the petition together didn’t get to pick who conducts the review. We need change at this club a petition was the only voice we have as fans

No, Wests Ashfield bought Campbelltown Sports Club and rebadged it Wests when the club move there in 87. They owned 25% of Wests tigers but pulled out when WA and Balmain voted together to pretty much withdraw from Campbelltown.
Wests Campbo fund our juniors in the south West.

Rick Wayde set it up that way back then.

See, this may or may not yield positive results on the field but as you can probably gather from some of the more casual posters who seem to endlessly tool the club my concern is that it's already disruptive because you mobilised sections of the media with a gripe against the club........for the petitions publicity.

Problem is now its disruptive during a period of prospective recruitment and and these media people could continue to attack the club during and post review.

Are you still in touch with the media ?

It would have been better to leave them out of it and try with the club.

I think Sheens Pascoe Lee Fulton Benji marketing etc do a good enough of mobilising the media for negative prss themselves

We chose jack.

After Wests were axed at the end of 83 and 84 only to be reinstated due to court action which Wayde personally set in motion the NSWRL were at it again in 86....deciding that there would only be 12 teams and Wests would go.....after they lost the High court appeal in 85 4-2, they had no recourse to legal action.

At this point Peter Moore one of the delegates on the 9 man NSWRL board asked Rick to help him set up Johnies disco at Canterbury leagues and that he would back Wests retention in the competition if we left most of our juniors to Canterbury and shifted to Campbelltown. The deal was also that Canterbury would abandon Liverpool to Wests.

So we chose nothing .

So would it be correct in saying

Wests, Harold matts, SG ball, NSW cup

Balmain, Harold matts, SG ball

WT flegg

Women's team

WT First grade


And Campbelltown Leagues fund all the other lower grades in the Macarthur region??


Is the operations to funnel the teams from Macarthur into the pathways wests ashfield doing to from HM to NRL??

That's right.

So whatever happens the club is now qualifying to the petitions organisers.

C'mon give us a break? If Crawford or Barnier had qualifications and or experience in review work then it would have been put to the general public.

The negative fans are being proactive in forcing change.
The positive fans are those sitting on the hill with their little propellor caps on, waving their flags and cheering as the side loses again and again.
