Sheens getting moved on a year early seems an odd thing to be this bitter about …

Would it really have made much difference if he was still here having his final season in 2024 as they grind out another bottom three finish?
 
I’ll try change the subject cause seems like this thread is turning into a general info thread.

Does anyone see Lachlan Galvin as a potential 13 in the future as a ball playing lock?

If both Fainu and Sullivan perform or even if we nab Luai he may struggle locking down a spot. He’s listed at 195cms at the age of 18. Probably still growing. That could add a different dimension to our attack with his playmaking abilities in the middle.

I haven’t watched him that closely, so anyone that might’ve what are your thoughts?

Bad coaches get moved on from clubs every year …the idiots appointing them in the first place is the main problem …

I have no idea but it's an interesting footy topic. Galvin looks like a really big kid but he is also extremely skillful. I think looking at his frame he is too small in relation to being skinny and he might get smashed playing lock. Can he tackle ? Could he handle long periods in the middle of the park ?

I suppose I figure play him in reserve grade and experiment with various positions and see how he develops.

The one he moved on took us to last place. Then was in a ding dong battle to retain his spot up against Adam Clune and Pheonix Crossland (made the finals at Knights because he had a superstar in his team - my point). Some of you blokes would probably celebrate signing that pair too lol

Hes only 18, got plenty of time to put some muscle on, with his height he could be a real monster....

But we also have a long line of talented Locks coming through - Matamua, Kit Laulilii not to mention the guys in Harold Matts with wraps (and Seyfarth could also develop more in this position).

The question you have to ask is, how dose he and his management think about it. Considering the value of a six or seven is considerably more than most other positions. Also he seems to be in demand out there .

Been plenty of talk he will end up in the backrow, but for now I think 6 or 7 is what is goal is.
