Bowlers did their job.
Batsmen need to settle in and comfortably chase these runs. Only require a tick over 4 /over. Nothing silly needed, save the fireworks for the Indians.
I’ve seen us fail on small chases many times. No hero’s needed here.

Yep a boring solid run chase. Cherish your wicket and there’s plenty of runs to be had in later overs and when ya set.

I’m really enjoying the fielding graphics they’re showing on the screen with the players names. As well as other tidbits they been showing.

Once again, the Aussie batsmen let their team down.
I don’t know what it is about them but they usually can’t be trusted in situations like this. They have to be the big dicks.
They can easily win this in singles, yet are reverse sweeping turning balls on middle. Just dumb.

Finally. Pardon the pun.
I think the pitch had a bit to do with the scores but no excuses, we tried hard to lose it and nearly got there.
Once again we beat SA in a riveting semi match.
Woo Hoo!!! Can’t wait to beat India. We’ll find a way to win somehow.

🥂 let's get it all
Both teams showed a lot of guts and never say die which is exactly what i would expect.Facing India on their own dungheap in front a packed stadium of 130000 Indian fans will be very hard and will be our greatest achievement in many years if we get a win.
Lets hope the pressure of the situation affects the home favourites and not our blokes.

I am concerned that our top order will fall apart v India.
Our batting plans are awful and juvenile….the openers both go into slog mode with neither prepared to anchor the innings. Our number 3 follows suit either going big or getting nothing. Then comes the 4 and 5. They attempt to bunker down and weather the storm, but have both been ineffective, usually burning far too many overs and getting out anyway with 15 to 20 overs remaining. Our 6 is the most destructive in the world but always gives chances early meaning he can also fall for nothing on occasion. The number 7 tries hard but is out of his depth.
India easily beat us in the early rounds by exposing and attacking these weaknesses. It is not a very well balanced batting lineup. On their day, they could all fire and hit 450. They can also all be out for 150. They have to evolve and change their plans to win the WC.

Up all night thank God it was worth it
Head ( bat and ball ) Warner ( bat and field ) Starc ball and cool with bat at end as was Cummings. Inglis looked good . Maxxy bowled well Hazelwood and Starc were excellent .
Rest of batters looked brittle .Zampa had a bad night given it was a massive turning wicket

For the first time we have seen a contest where the bowlers have actually been in the game. So much better than a runfest.
Sadly our batting in all forms of the game is hit and miss . Both Smith and Marnus are struggling and the rest are hit and miss.
India should win in a canter, great side, home pitch and home crowd. Our only chance is to bat first and apply scoreboard pressure, even than I don’t think we are a chance

They have been head and shoulders the best side this WC.
Australia has the firepower to upset them though if the stars align.
