So was Leilua at the time. And still a massive upgrade on what we've got.
I'd move Tupou in the centres and find a winger instead.

Melbourne 2007: Cronk (23) and Inglis (20)they're an exception because they've played with each other for ages from juniors. Very rare that you see clubs have two juniors who played together in juniors so much transition together to first grade. But still, my point stands. There's no successful halves combination that doesn't have a veteran in there. Chucking two rookies in won't work. Look at Mam and Reynolds even

Manly 2011: Cherry-Evans (22) and Foran (21)
Souths 2014: Reynolds (24) and Keary (22).
Panthers 2020: Cleary (22) and Luai (23).
Olam and Nofa played left side at the StormWatch the games where Olam played with Nofa
He marshalled him, and played at right centre
Moses and He who shall not be named? Talk about bouncing off each other!Yep, 2 young halves definitely can work. In fact sometimes it's necessary depending on personalities. Often a young guy can hold back with an experienced partner, but throw him in with another youngster and they bounce off each other.
I remember when the much less talented Mac's started carving up for Canberra. Both thrived having the responsibility put on them rather than playing 2nd fiddle to an experienced player.
Blore doesn’t want to stay at the WT…Melbourne Storm are desperate to let Olam go, so why give Storm a player they want, offer Kepaoa and Naden take it or tiger's move on, watch Blore become a very good forward
Blore will leave at the end of next year anyway, we may as well get something from this while we can nowBlore will take the next step in the next couple of seasons it’s a shame we have to swap him and keep gronks like flippers and Simpkin. Quality roster management.
They’re that desperate they would take AJ? I doubt it.Melbourne Storm are desperate to let Olam go, so why give Storm a player they want, offer Kepaoa and Naden take it or tiger's move on, watch Blore become a very good forward
If it’s true and Blore doesn‘t want to stay though, there’s nothing the club can do. Might as well use him as a bargaining chip while you can.Olam is a risk that you take on for 3 years …
If he comes here and is no good… then it’s another high price/ dud Noto like situation for the next 2 years who is squatting on a Top 30 spot that you can’t move on…
He certainly has peaked and is on the way down in any event…
On the other hand, you have a hungry young guy in Blore, who we don’t know yet what his ceiling is…
I would much rather be extending Blore… it should have happened back in July when he was angling for it… probably too late now…as he is free to sign elsewhere for 2025 …

This is my thinking too. I would really like him to work out but the way he plays I think he needs to be fully fit. He does seem like a much harder worker on and off the field than Leilua and Jet though. Does anyone in the know have any idea what the process for a medical for a potential signing looks like at a club?I was of the Olam's been hard done by brigade until Melbourne brought him back for the finals.
He looks done to me.
These centres like Jet and B.J. that once were great rarely come back after the decline starts.
