Did you know they don’t make the multi-coloured fruit tingles anymore?
What a disgrace...what's this world coming to
But I suppose if they are all green, my favorite as they were the yummiest, I guess it's ok :p
I'll have to buy a packet next time I'm in Woolies.

How are you going with your health issues these days?
I hope things have improved (y).

Green, yellow, and pink. So you’ll be right.

You drove that type of bus?

The bus museum at Leichhardt takes them out often.
I never drove the double deckers, but I drove some of the crappy old single decker's that came after.
For the last couple of years before I retired, I drove the 14.5-meter coach size bus from P'matta into Circular Quay.

How many mirrors did you lose?
Losing mirrors depends a LOT on the skill of the bus driver.
If he/she has the ability to drive wholly within the lane while being mindful of telegraph poles, overhanging awnings, and believe me a LOT of other obstacles, not too many mirrors are lost.
If your losing nearside mirrors the obvious reaction is to stay a bit further from the gutter, then you lose offside mirrors from passing trucks.
I was lucky enough to go for one whole year without any incident at all and believe me that's something I was really pleased to achieve as it's pretty rare.
Soon after that I was unexpectedly called into the boss's office, and I thought 'shit I'm in trouble'. Instead, I was told my achievement had been noticed and given a certificate of appreciation which I had framed to hang on the wall.
A couple of years later though things weren't going well in my personal/home life which effected my driving and I started to lose confidence and bloody mirrors, to many mirrors.
I'd gone from the penthouse so to say to the bloody :poop: house  and was no longer getting any satisfaction from doing a job I once enjoyed and doing it well....ahhhhh!!!...I can't handle this anymore :eek: let me outa here, so I became a self-funded retiree at age 57.
But....a BIG lump of the $$$ I had accrued in my superannuation disappeared in the f'n GFC.
And my personal/home life hasn't improved :(.

How many mirrors did you lose?
