Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

A guy on Twitter talking in regards to Blore and not getting a contract offer from the Wests Tigers said this.
incorrect, was tabled an extension on much less $$$ , melbourne offering $550k 3 year deal, for such an injury prone player, thats alot of money for potential
If that’s correct. Good on him.

We won’t be paying that.

No inside info just a hunch.

Luai to Tigers in 23

AFB to Panthers on Luai's money

Panthers 4 in a row with Cleary running the show on a power forward game.
Don’t think the $$$ will add up there.

Luai’s current contract will be much smaller than AFB’s current contract.

And panthers don’t have much wiggle room to add more to it (without letting a substantial player go as well).

The reports are that AFB will only be released in 2025 to a Sydney team. Panthers, Eels couldn’t afford him and Roosters aren’t interested.

The three I’ve heard are Olam, Best and Ado-Carr.
Could see Olam and maybe Best, Ado ain’t going anywhere. Phill Gould ain’t letting him go, does a lot in the community, and good brand for the club. They just gotta figure out how to get him more ball in open space like they did at Melbourne

The Golden Greek lost his relevance 20 years ago why listen to the wind bag??
Did you see that video where Hoppa goes to the wind bags place and is giving him a hug at the front door.

I would imagine that if Hoppa did the old stink finger trick while he had a hold of him, that would probably release a hell of a lot of wind.

Hoppa might lose his hand aswell

Michael Jennings on train and trial at the Roosters. He’d have been a walk up starter here.
It's not what Jennings may have on Politis, but far more likely and far more depressing is that Nick and other senior club officials still think of Jennings as a 'good bloke who made a simple mistake' and 'someone who still deserves a second chance'.

The NRL owes him nothing after his most recent actions, and the optics on this whole situation are poor enough that even from a business standpoint, it doesn't make sense to sign him. Let alone for a club that boasts about culture.

Can't even justify the signing as an 'older player to mentor the younger players' because he is such a shit bloke that you wouldn't even want him mentoring yourself.
Depressing as a rugby league fan in general to see they're still allowing dug bust players to return NRL.

I wouldn't want him at my club potentially mentoring our younger juniors...

The Roosters signed Lodge.
End of culture discussion.
