Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He made me sign a non disclosure statement about his future.

And said he would sue me if I broke it.

And then asked me if I liked his trench coat.
If you would like a 3 year contact to play first grade for the tigers then just ingratiate yourself with some of Fedoras family members..

Maybe one reason why tigers offers always leak is we are probably used as the bargaining chip to get other clubs to lift their offers. "This is what tigers are offering, get close to that and he's yours".

Moses used us masterfully last year to get a bigger contract at a club he never wanted to leave. lots of noise and hype. very similar pattern with latrell, JAC and now Luai.

I'd guess if agents are serious about us we wouldn't see so much of the details, particularly the news that 'an offer has been made' rather than 'player is expected to sign'. I'd assume we're not dumb enough to leak this info, just too stupid to manage and control it. For that reason there's no reason for agent to release the offer info unless they want to encourage offers elsewhere.

That's my predictive work for the day. Would love to be wrong but I don't see it happening.

Say what you want but the fact Benji seems to be selling what was once known as an unsellable destination is crazy.

This last 12 months from a recruitment perspective has been the best I’ve seen in the clubs history.

Gives you an idea of Benji’s appeal - I’ve said it for about 6 months but all I ever hear from people close to the situation is how good he has been and how everyone is bought into his vision.

The quote I was told was “they’d run through a brick wall for Benji” and it seems like they’re all bringing high intensity at training.

He brought success to the club on the field - if he somehow manages to bring success off the field after the drought we’ve had…. well if he doesn’t get the respect he deserves, then he never will.

Bang on mate. That’s my take.

Just reported on CH9, Tigers met with AFB today .
If we show no real signs of improvement next year - expect Papalili to push for a move to NZ and it’ll probably be the trade that gives us the edge against the Bulldogs/Dragons.

Benji's a winner. People are always attracted to winners.

Fulton being close to black money helps too.

I'm going to say this just one more time: Clubs. Can't. Get. Rid. Of. Players. No. Other. Club. Wants. You can wish Nofoaluma away all you like but he's got a contract nobody wants to touch for another two years. We're stuck with him.
Exactly the reason the Chairman's position is untenable...

This dud contract is the legacy of Lee's nepotistic over-reach into football department decisions - and in the age of salary cap limitations the result is a massive ongoing $500K per year Albatross hanging over the squad and coach!

Stupid question has Haumole officially resigned with the Eagles?

AFB, Fainus & Mole very close. Grand plan for 2025?
Money would be better spent on a gun centre I think considering Ice and Bateman are already on big contracts with plenty of years + Sam Fainu (unless Ice did go back to NZ)
