You're also assuming that Maguire has a clue what form even looks like.
The man exclusively recruited dead wood, inflicted Brooks on us for 4 more years and picked Mbye EVERY game.

I can kind of understand the sentiment but I'm sorry, who are you to say quit the personal branding. The average career for a first grader lasts 43 games. Players have every right to hype themselves up in order to secure brand deals and better contracts, and honestly good on them for doing it.

You're are right when you say that 20 years ago nobody cared what you or anyone else did, but that doesn't mean you didn't have any self interest or ego. Remember Michael Jordan? I am sure you do! Well, guess what he was doing 20 years ago? Living off his own personal brand. You know 30 years ago the "Be like Mike" Gatorade advertisement aired as well. It's weird you have turned this into some sort of generational thing when this was even more commonplace in your generation, minus the social media.
Michael Jordan was also one of, if not the best player in the game. His performances did all the talking and branding.

While the Luai speculation plays out, what or who is our Plan B if we miss him for some reason?

I think one option is to persist with Sullivan and Fainu while they are young, but this will be a rocks and diamonds ride. Galvin is unproven and may or may not make the step up. Time will tell on him.

Adam Reynolds contract is up at end of 2024. If he wants to go around for another one or two seasons, would it be worth a shot?

I’m a bit the same. There was a quote of Luai’s online stating he is torn between two dominant motivations.
Winning, or spending more time with his family?
We can interpret that anyway. I think it rules out getting a pub. But does it translate to Tigers = more family time? Fatter bank account?
I would guess he would say playing with long established mates or proving he can win outside the Penrith system are the two motivators.

Yeah, that's the good thing. The status quo is a decent plan B. Luai is just an accelerator.

I think Plan B will be the original Plan A. Let Sezer be the 7 for 2024 while Sullivan/Fainu/Galvin all shoot it out to see who will be the halves in 2025.

If Sullivan can have a good injury free year next year I don't see why it can't be.
I hope that’s the case…

We probably need to accept that 2024 will be mediocre. I don’t think Sezer will transform our team into world beaters. Sadly we are looking at 2025 to be serious contenders for the 8 depending who we manage to sign.

AFB alone would make a massive difference, but add Luai and now you have something to work with.

I don't think Sezer will make us become world beaters either but he'll offer a lot more at 7 then we've had in a while.
