I went on holidays with my mates driving from Sydney to North Queensland in the back of a panel van we bought for $200 which blew it's head gasket around Port Macquarie. We did a bodgie replacement and carried on.
I remember writing "Help, we are in trouble" in the accumulated oil on the back window of the panel van.
Best holiday with the boys ever.
