Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Moreso, I find Mutual Options as redundant as both parties need to agree to take it up. No real difference to renegotiating a new deal.
Given Sezer’s age though I don’t think it would be too much money to negotiate a new deal if we feel the need to. However I do understand where you’re coming from.

Ok champ, but Olam apparently is on $600000 a season for the next 3 seasons. They whacked him in reserve grade this year and put nobody’s in to replace him, as he was playing broken, burnt out! U don’t have to be Einstein to work out they want him gone asap, they’re just playing chicken with the tigers hoping they we blink first!
So let me get this straight, "champ". This "position of strength" is that we might be able to negotiate a discount on something that, according to your own description, we absolutely shouldn't want. I take it your phone isn't ringing red hot with requests for your help with the situation in Gaza?

Iam like most here and thinks Nofo’s time is up…but what ever happens I will never forget that try against Manly. He was the first winger to do the double twist with pike, with a degree of difficulty 9.9 to score. Of course now every winger can do them, but back then it was nearly lead story on the 6pm news!!
Unfortunately Noffa only ever does Noffa things when he feels like it.

Would swapping Nofa and Olam be of best interest for both clubs?

That's not how mutual options work. Usually each party has a level it can or has to take up based on certain conditions. For example the club may be able to take up the option at 250k but the player may be able to have it at 350k but only if they have played a certain number of games.

I used to think that was the case as well, but after speaking with people involved at the club I don't believe that is the case..
