David Nofoaluma #164

If that is a direct quote from Harry then he has made his intentions clear.

“I told Benji I will help them if they need it. I said, ‘I can talk to the players individually and then I can make up mind whether I can help them’.”
Nothing in that suggests an increase in charitable funding.
That says he's on board for 3rd party deals which is where we lack conpared to other clubs

How do you define 'Nothing Wrong'?

He's turned up to work Drunk previously....
Fireable offence (on the spot) in many workplaces.
James Graham on his podcast said there was something in players contracts around turning up to training and training to the best of your ability.

Unless he is claiming injury, it may be grounds to dismiss him for breach of contract.

I think that’s why they may have formalised the breach in writing. Preparation for dismissal with any future breaches ( 3 strikes and you’re out).

Hal the 3 strikes is a myth in HR law. You can still be instantly dismissed.

I think the trouble is with a $500k contract, you not only risk losing a player, but also the $500k off your cap. Now that may not happen if the NRL makes that exception for the club, it’s a risk nonetheless.

Better to move him on so we can move on.

It’s clear that most clubs strategy is to just let you rot is reserve grade until you get the hump and leave on your own accord.

Thanks for the heads up WT. I’m obviously stuck in the past.

The only way we're going to get a decent amount from the cap is probably through the UK.

He has plenty of people on here willing to pack his bags. I'm sick of losing and he's the one dragging us back there at the moment.

I continue to think he won’t be going anywhere, and if worst comes to worst will cop his $10k a week playing Reggie’s, or be out injured a lot !
His ego looks to love the limelight of playing 1st grade, but he also seems the type to happily bludge a wage in KOE Cup whilst living the party life.
Whatever it costs WT to get rid of him IMO it'd be worth it. No good for club harmony to have a disgruntled loafer dragging the chain.

They still basically own the club, they just worked out the decision makers they had in place were the pits.
I thought they were the decision makers. It appeared to me the reason they sacked Maguire was because he was making decisions, they thought they should be making. As Lee said at the time, "the board wants more say" lol
