Early days, but. Pole is shaping up nicely to become our very own JFH! Young bloke also started at lock to get more time on field to get used to the contact before making the full time shift to prop.
I see Pole as our main linchpin in a few years time!

He can’t debut at 17. The minimum age these days is 18. So it won’t be till 2025 at the earliest.

in camp with 1st grade speaks volumes.

It hasn’t always been the rule. Jordan Rankin debuted at 16. And back before that the Cowboys tried to get special dispensation to debut Josh Hannay at 16

I have photos at my mum and dad's of a young Chris Lawrence and myself running 800mtrs at a state athletics carnival with Mitch Pearce and Kane Linnett also in frame. Plus photos of me racing Willy Isa in a 200mtr state race. And a heap of photos of myself and Jamal Idris and Jared hayne in Hobart for a nationals school athletics carnival. To be young again lol!!

NRL must have changed the rule after him.
People develop differently. The old saying
'If you're good enough you're old enough'

Yeh memories are awesome they last forever. Sucks sometimes seeing they amounted to great things and i ended up being me aha!! Yeh still young although feel much older than I am that's for sure

Beat Brisbane 20 to 6 ......still can remember Broncos supporters around us tearing up memberships ....Lockyer broke the NRL record for most touches in a game ....and the Broncos go on and win premiership
