As long as Benji isn’t left waiting at the altarTriggering the mutual option. Good luck to the lad. Let's hope it's a long term contract.

Regressed ridiculously is too harsh. He should have been a 6 his whole career and then we wouldn’t have seen as much pressure on him to manage games (at 7), which led to a different expectation. He was never a game manager. Never had the attributes of a Cronk or a Thurston. He was an attacking machine who regressed ridiculously from 2012 onwards.
Idk. He was the best player in the game in 2010. Won the Golden Boot. 09, 10 and 11 Benji Was untouchable. When he came back from his rugby stint in 2013, he was never in the same stratosphere.Regressed ridiculously is too harsh. Fast twitch fibres and ageing. Fittler went through the same. They both managed to change their games to prolong magnificent careers.Idk. He was the best player in the game in 2010. You cannot compare Fittler in his twilight to Benji. Some first class revisionist history going on. How quick we forget Benchie Marshall. He was benched for a reason. His form fell off a cliff in 2013.Fast twitch fibres and ageing. Fittler went through the same. They both managed to change their games to prolong magnificent careers.
The forum will go in meltdown 😂😂
The history is, he went to rugby start of 2014 season, mid season signed on with the Dragons in 2015 he led the Dragons into the finals playing halfback and leading the comp for try assists. Then he started fall off, around that time his body slowed down and he lost his starting spot and wound up at the Broncos with Wayne.Idk. He was the best player in the game in 2010. And played very well in his limited opportunities with Souths, Brisbane and Wests Tigers in his later years. So well that he earned a test recall. The history is, he went to rugby start of 2014 season, mid season signed on with the Dragons in 2015 he led the Dragons into the finals playing halfback and leading the comp for try assists. He personally had a winning record with us* in all but two seasons I believe. Our greatest talent, unfortunately injuries prevented more finals footy.Even in 2018 when he came back to the Tigers under Ivan he had a 12 wins 9 losses record that year but we didn't win a game when he was out
Naah not really confident... I'd guess next year will be if & when it happens nsAnyone confident we hear something tomorrow ?
It's been a Loooong 2 weeks

$1.2 million is a lot to have in limbo for 2025. We need an answer fairly soon in case we need to go to contingency plans. Wait like we did for Moses and we’re all left complaining there’s no options on the market again.Luai won't be here til 2025 anyway so it's possible we won't get any signing announcement til the new year. Tomorrow would be a real bonus. Any more action on Olam?
I think the club know where it’s at, and I’d rather they say nothing publicly until it’s officially official.$1.2 million is a lot to have in limbo for 2025. Everyone seems to have relaxed over the last week which has been nice.Who cares when it gets announced as long as it’s us it doesn’t matter if it is tomorrow of the week before preseason kicks off.
