I'm talking based from the 90s onwards post the West Indies era. Some crazy escapes..Take Captain Pat out of the side and we lose a lot of these close tests. His contributions are very important.

They gotta sell tickets. Its funny, I keep hearing how good the NZ Cricket team is and how they possess world class players.
Lately everytime we play them, no matter how we play, we dust them up.
Since we beat them in the WC Final of 2015, these are the results between the two. I havent included T20 because I couldnt give a shit about it.
2015 Test Series = Aus 2-0
2016 ODI series = NZ 2-1
2016 Test Series = Aus 2-0
2016 ODI Series = Aus 3-0
2017 ODI Series = NZ 2-0
2020 Test Series = Aus 3-0
2020 ODI Series = Aus 1-0* (games 2 & 3 cancelled)
2022 ODI Series = Aus 3-0
2024 Test Series = Aus 2-0
Despite this history, NZ have 2 batsmen within the top 5 Test rankings in the world and have a very good record at home as shown in the following record of the past decade.

Especially at home. 20 test series in the past decade for only 3 series losses. They just get the yips against us. They're a decent side.
I think they screwed the pooch not playing Wagner either. I think with what the pitches were offering particularly in the second test he would have had a field day and at the least would have won them the second Test.Especially at home. 20 test series in the past decade for only 3 series losses.
Yep we are in their heads.
That’s a good move from Pakis, with their younger bowlers. Dizzy is pretty good they reckon. Problem is still Paki Govt. getting involved? Good luck Diz.Jason Gillespie to coach Pakistan
