I’m a big believer in finding spots for your best 17 players and AJ Kepaoa simply isn’t in that for mine.

Can't argue with that mate.
I too have been disappointed in what Kepaoa has produced in the many chances he’s been given with us at NRL level, I think all Wests Tigers supporters have been.
I also initially couldn’t understand why we keep persisting with him.
But it’s obvious Benji sees something in him and he has shown glimpses of being a handful when running the ball as a back rower as well as showing a few signs he can hit hard defensively.
It’s quite obvious to all of us he has a lot of deficiencies in his game, but I can also see some potential that he could become a tackle busting, line breaking, hard hitting edge back rower with enough speed to create try scoring opportunities for us. That coupled with his utility value to cover in the backs would mean he could potentially become a valuable player if he cuts out his mistakes, becomes more involved and becomes a much more reliable defender.
A lot of ifs, but it’s not impossible.

The first major topic of discussion is the reports around Benji Marshall’s approach to coaching, is it a positive or negative for the Wests Tigers in 2024 and beyond?
The focus then turns to the big game on Saturday and some of the surprises in the side that was announced on Tuesday afternoon, can an 18 year old guide the side around the field? Which selection surprised the panel the most? ?How can the Wests win this game?
Steve also gives an update on this season’s Ambush Events, including this weekend’s event at Wests Ashfield for the game against the Raiders.
