LIVE GAME Round 4 vs. Eels

Live Game Discussion
Even a Juzzie Olam shot didn't slow him down, just scrapped for everything today!
yeah i had a chuckle too...an accidental olam hit and he cartwheeled in the air but landed safely. ...imagine being the opposition player knowing your running into olam. No wonder that eels player (cant remember who it was) sidestepped in the last second to avoid an olam missile but into 2 other tigers defenders as a safer route.

Already a mental win for the tigers there.

Just to digress as I haven’t gone back to read it , but did we cop some absolutely wtf penalties today ?
The boys did amazing overcoming it , but I thought at least 3 times the eels were gifted field position on dubious “offside” penalties .
I mean it is the eels , and they do fish for them more than any team , but still I thought the ref wasn’t up to the occasion . To have multiple overturned challenges as well speaks to this .
Do you think Latu Fainu can play 13 ?

Just got back from the game & i’ve never been this proud of the team for a very long time. That was a tough, resilient & bloody gutsy win & it just shows that Benji has got these boys playing for that badge on the jersey. UP YOU [This word has been automatically removed]ING TIGERS BABY 🖤🤍🧡🐯

Plenty of condescending comments about the coaches using run around plays several weeks back, but the simple play remains a good one from juniors to internationals when executed well, which Seyfarth and Sezer did today to get the win.
Nothing wrong with that run around, Tim. Simple play executed well.
The run arounds last season using Klemmer, Twal, & Seyfarth deserved mockery.

He wont get any plaudits in here but that was Charlie Staines best game for Wests. He might be lightweight but the kid works his bollocks off. 14 runs for 153 metres, only 16 of those in kick returns. 56 PCM 👏🏼👏🏼

Massive effort
Definitely his best game so far every time sivo got the ball i panicked a bit but staines held his own..only thing i reckon is he needs to put his shoulder into tackles alot more and drive them back. Maybe he should ask olam for technique

The non penalty for the textbook "disruptor", and the dead set 35 non penalties for the 3rd man flops.
You guys cry into your pillows about how the refs hate us and the NRL have it out for us.
Im not a victim so I refuse to fall into such loser mentality.
We were our own worst enemy for reasons I discussed. This can be fixed. What you guys are saying can not.

What a great win arguably even better than last week, considering we got the rough end of the pineapple on multiple occasions. Very proud of the way the team stuck to it even through adversity, shows we have one another's back's. Probably couldnt say that much in the last few seasons.

Sean Russell, lucky he did skip sideways otherwise that collision would.have ended his career and maybe Justin's too

Tucker, I didn't say we wuz robbed. I didn't cry in my pillow.
I gave you a specific example, and maybe 35 was a slight exaggeration . . . but we could sit down to a replay and I'll show you at least 25 genuine, text book 2nd or 3rd man flops.
That's all.

That’s when Ennis went on about Russell almost ending up in Parramatta hospital. I was like “where?”

Im sure if we did that, we'd come up with 25-30 that our blokes did as well.
All those off sides were real. It was desperation play. We werent dudded and thankfully the boys stood up for each other and got through it. Parra started getting pinged for the same stuff later in the game when they became desperate.

Don't won't to be too hard on the young bloke because he has done his job over the last 3 weeks.
But I think that Fataape has to make way for Naden next week, I've just seen too much ball watching in defence and he's not offering enough in attack to warrant keeping his spot. Add to that Naden has had two massive performances back to back in cup, he's due a go.
