LIVE GAME NRL Round 13 Discussion **SPOILERS**

Live Game Discussion
The dogs just get in the grind and play tough 2 in the bin and still doing it easy. Their rebuild is 1-2years ahead of ours and you can tell they have more quality in depth than we do. The knights they are playing shocking one of the worst team performances of the year.
It’s funny you say this. Gould has said many times that the Doggies rebuild is 2 years behind ours.

They Bulldogs/Gould turned over the loser roster and recruited some quality players backed up by 6/7 FG quality players from good systems. Ciraldo struggled as a coach last year because he didn't have the depth he was use to at Penrith. This year he has plenty to work with and don't think they are top 4 but top 8 is definitely more than a good chance.
Curran is up there with one of the best buys of the season so far.

He’s throwing off, their halves are average at best and they could use another middle but as a whole their squad and depth is far superior
I’m not saying that isn’t true, more so Gus didn’t recognise it. I don’t think he is misdirecting, I think he isn’t as good as advertised. He has thrown a shitload of darts at the board and some have stuck.

“No change in the structure or system, it’s the exact same system we had when Newcastle pumped us twice last season.

“The change has been around the culture. We’ve got good people here who want to work hard, and they love each other.

“Whenever you’ve got that, you’ll be hard to beat. I love watching us defend right now.”

Ciraldo after tonight’s win……Benji and Morris take note..

I’m surprised we didn’t make a play for Curran….always a big effort player just like Cotter

No doubt he has he has a million utilities, their squad isn’t perfect by any means but as it stands it’s in front of ours man for man

It’s not all about the skill level though and this is something I’ve been banging on about for a couple of years now.
Ciraldo even said it out loud tonight…it’s about how hard you want to work off field and how much you are prepared to cover your teammates and work together on field.
We have enough talent to win games. We aren’t doing what it takes to win when the going gets tough. We did do it against Sharks in style and a better example is the gritty win v Eels, but that’s not enough. Doggies are not giving in.

Dogs players all playing with intent. All doing the simple things well - running hard and tackling hard. They have great line speed in D and communicate really well. Their attack comes off the back of the momentum they win. Showing some real grit this season.
Yes they’re going well. Dogs adopted a ‘buy in or get out policy’ and it’s paying dividends. They placed a value on the jersey.
Tigers are now copying the formula but starting their run from a long way back.

Remember when we played them, most of our fans stated it wasn’t good line speed….they were offside all game and the NRL sanctioned it.
🤣

🤣
Didn’t they get sin binned for being offside in 3 consecutive tackles

Hate the doggies but wish we showed the same effort and grit as them
