Seems we don’t want to dig deep and push ourselves to the limits required. We’re not playing for each other in the same way or with the same intent as we have done earlier in the season. Being without our best 17 has been tough, however we need more leadership on the field - this is the area that our more experienced guys have let us down in.
The teams that have a handful or more experienced, quality, elite competitors are able to achieve 100% effort and desire out of the balance of their team that may be made up of even average NRL players or journeymen.
One of the reasons many ex Tigers players look better in other squads but were hardly world beaters with us, and also why many who look good elsewhere then come to us and never look the same as they did.
