I love all our passion and ideas for the club , non of us really know what’s going on regarding purchase of new players and who we are looking to unload , it’s all based on media , and we all know how much crap they spin , plus there seems to be negative with media that just likes to have pot shots at us all the time , reason we don’t win many games and we are heading backwards again , Richo coming on board should fix a lot of our issues , he seems to be on the front foot with our roster , we have 2 good players coming for 2025 , we need probably another 2 or 3 solid players to push up the ladder , we do have some good young players coming but they probably need a year or 2 more yet before they start in the top grade .
positives = 2 new first grade quality players coming
positives = Sam our new back rower who has stepped up nicely
positives = Simpkins and Papi moving on
positives = trying to unload Dead wood , Naden , Sullivan , Seyfarth
positives = offering Step A fair long term deal
positives = Richo looking all over for better player options

negatives = not winning games
negatives = NRL 360 , General media , Ruff end of calls by refs

we will improve if the club can secure some quality players , and I believe we will they are out there Rico and Benji will get them ,
if we can some how move Naden , Sullivan , Seyfarth , Simpkins , Pappi we will improve as they have done very little for us this year , just need to find those hungry players like young Sam who has been great , 5 replacements like him we are much stronger , just my rant

The fact this shit show is playing out with Stefano having these ridiculous clauses in his contract is evidence enough something needed to be done to remove possibly the worst management in NRL history.

We’re more likely than not, to win another spoon, lose Steff, lose lots more games the second half of the year, have heaps more articles written about Benji, have pressure put on other players to leave, galvin probably wanting out early, players being angry they’re being shopped around and staying like bud, the club being called a disgrace as the losses mount … and richo can’t sack Benji bc luai coming next year…. It’s gonna be awful.

I just can’t see another path. Maybe they sack Farrah and get a quality assistant like Brad Arthur to keep some stability…

Stef issues aside - the St George and Bulldogs showing significant improvement has been a disaster for us in terms of retention and recruitment.
These are the clubs we compete against in the rebuild stakes and both look ahead of us while we stay camped in exactly the same place as we were last season and the one before that.

The faces may be different but it's becoming more difficult to see how we break this cycle. It's beyond frustrating and the player managers are now agitating - anyone think they are not running the game is kidding themselves. Impossible for us to get off the bottom while they negotiate with stronger clubs for their best players and the system allows the strong to monopolize the best talent.

Just like apparently Bateman wants to stay in the ‘warmth’ of Sydney and remain with the Tigers. Next season it seems.

Wouldn't be that mad if Bateman stays next year we can't keep gutting all the experience from our roster and expecting to improve our situation. I know I'm in the minority but think he has been one of our better players when fit.

Luai is a good player but he ain’t a miracle worker. We’re still a bottom 8 side next year at this stage.

Every time he has come off the bench for us we have won.

We just keep making poor decisions.
If we werent scrooges and try saving money on a cheap coach we could have got someone experienced like Flanagan.
All respect to Benji and his mates but they’re coaching us to another spoon.

I have said this before ..and i know if ain’t exactly rocket science …. but the Tigers never improve their overall squad …players come and go but the overall (lack of ) talent and depth remains the same as a whole..

The Olam/ Blore swap is a classic example ….we improve the outside backs but at the cost of letting go an up and coming forward … why couldn’t Olam have been obtained whilst keeping Blore ? We let players go early all the time and never get anyone in return..

Even next year with Luia and Turuva coming… we will be down Ice and maybe Stef … spinning our wheels and staying the same as a squad whilst everyone else improves isn’t a great recipe for success …

I blame the past management of the Wests Tigers though for this situation .. more than the Player Agents … although I dont understand the call to let Ice go… I’m hoping that he will be replaced with a player of similar skill and experience… seems unlikely though …
