It’s wonderful being a supporter of this club. We get flogged on Friday, 9 losses in a row, and all we hear is Ice going to Penrith a year early, Stef wants out (and playing like it), and now our future star Lachie Galvin wants out.

When u sit down and work out what’s wrong with our team I think it boils down to our body shapes are all wrong . We just don’t have the bulk in the forwards , and they just can’t create for our backs , did anyone watch the sharks game , when HUNT came on with his bulk they killed them , we don’t have that . In fact over the last few years we have either let players leave while under contract or told them there not wanted . Some of the bigger players we have let go

Reading to many headlines the young lad. Respect comes from digging in when times are tough, not jumping ship esp. with a contract in place. Great role models the parents if they’re agitating for the release.

This is a huge issue atm, even though we have a squad that only has about 4 players in it that would make another first grade team we have to pay our squad virtually the same amount as Penrith are paying theirs.

Totally agree. Our forwards get three in a tackle and then after what seems an eternity the opposition get the ball away. Very soft defence.

We had them in Blore and Paps and we let them go.

I know the club don’t want to let on who they are talking too ( if they are even talking to anyone ) but would it be smarter for Richo to come out and at least say how his trip to England went . Just say I had positive talks with players and clubs for players going and coming and we will in time let supporters know . I think us supporters need something like that after Friday’s massacre

I think he will get around to it.

He issued that press release a month or so ago asking us members and fans to be patient.

R&R is very secretive because players and their managers etc are so fickle.

But I’ve said it a million times that our brains trust R&R needs a massive upgrade. We really need to poach the talented officials. Other clubs do it all the time.

We’ve been muddling through it and have been found out countless times.

Everyone involved in our r&r is well intended but not at the level we need.

Then Benji is struggling on top of that and seems out his depth. We know who his role models are and regrettably there’s a few clowns amongst them.

When he started shedding tears at the early demise of Tim, I thought he was trapped in the matey view of the world.

As Richo says, you have to be brutal and aim not sure Benji has the stomach for it.

Richo has wisely piled up the fortunes of the club on Benji, so he can skate through when Benji falls over.

“if you love the club Benji, you’ll step aside. Well give you a great cover story so you don’t lose face.”

And as we know, Benji and his reputation mean the world to him.
