TEAM LIST Round 15 vs. Titans

Team List
Stat attack on nrl.com

  • Wests Tigers have not defeated the Titans at Leichhardt Oval since 2008.
I was hoping to look it up and see that we've almost never play Titans at LO, but actually I'm surprised it's fairly regular for shocking reading - 1 W 4 L vs Titans at Leichhardt.

Bloody Nora, this will be the worst team to take the field since 1908.
If you need a lift in your spirit as I do and probably a lot of us WT's fand do, have a look at @Lauren's post no. 133 if you have'nt read it already.
A couple of our future stars along with Galvin who we know is now staying with us.
I got an immediate lift and I hope you do also TP, so thank you Lauren 😊.

We must have kicked somebodies cat.

Wests Tigers have trimmed their squad to 19 players ahead of Saturday's Round 15 match against the Titans at Leichhardt Oval.

Alex Twal and Alex Lobb have both been omitted from the squad after suffering head knocks at training on Wednesday.

Their absence opens the door for another two players to make their NRL debut, taking Wests Tigers tally to nine debutants so far this season.

Solomona Faataape has been elevated from the bench to the centres pushing Brent Naden to the wing in place of Lobb, with Mason to be used in a utility role off the bench.

Fonua Pole moves into the front row replacing Twal with Alex Seyfarth shifting to the second row and Miller added to the bench.
I have serious questions about what goes on at training where players are concussed! Even in full contact session some care needs to be taken. Surely some guidance around players wellbeing/safety needs addressing? Two out with head knocks at training……Really? Isn’t there something called simulation? Alarm bells here.

Brother Pole hits the front row, nothing to worry about, he’s going to step up for sure.

I for one am glad he seems safe.

A lot of interest in Mason, some people are betting their children he’s going to start.

Benjis got this side ensconced in thick fog!

Said it from the start, there was a reason he wasn’t being picked in first grade at Melbourne! He’s not up to scratch!! On the way out of his career, but we invest into this guy besides one of the younger guys coming through
We're going - and taking 3 of our grandchildren for their first Wests Tigers' game.
About time to start life's education at the 8th wonder.
Just passing on the baton, so to speak ........
You must have a job that pays well?

So we’re due?
Surely you can only put your chips on red for so long before a black turns up
Doesn't seem to matter where you put your chips, the seagulls will definitely swoop in and get em.
And to much salt on the hot chips is not good for seagulls.

I’d say more like we ran over it !!!!
I ran into a Deer in Port Macquarie in my Subaru Outback a few days ago.
I was driving fairly slowly as I had just avoided missing its mate.
A fairly minor crack in the front bumper, minor damage to 1 headlight and a few assorted minor bit's n pieces,
$6,000 thank you very much.
I'm insured so I pay only $1,000.
That bloody Deer is damn dear.

Such a bummer, BZN, sorry to read that. Always worries me driving rural roads especially during those dusk hours. Have had a couple of near misses with Roos seemingly on a death wish.

Pleased to hear you also reckon the Subaru 's are a good car.
I purchased a new Forester just over 3 years ago, but after a while I found the 2.5L motor was way underpowered when overtaking a semi at high speed, so I sold it and purchased a 4yo. Outback with the 6-cylinder motor.
It's a much better car than the Forester in every way Imo.
