It certainly looked more like 10k to 11k crowd judging by the hill.

I thought the same. It really built up in the 30 mins before 1st grade. I though it was easily 10k.

You might have nailed it. Probably no conspiracy but they stop counting before kick-off. I was there in balmains dying days and with 7 thousand you could drive a bus on the hill.

Someone mentioned the music breaks - honestly, it was terrible, no connection whatsover with what was happening. To me, if a try is scored against us, I wouldn't be playing anything!!

looked like the hill alone had 8000 On it.

And the ground as It is,
Is supposed to hold 20000.
So very hard to convince me there was only 8000.

The ground is now capped at around 16k

Honestly mate I was shocked by the number, seemed like a lot more and there was a queue crossing city west link 20 minutes after full time that would rival the 20k+ days before they capped the numbers. I'd pay no notice to it.

Remember the official crowd attendace doesnt include all the lebbo's that jump the fence on the south side.
