Today our 5th tackle plays were much better than Canberra's and that set our game up. Just about every bomb was contested, where Canberra's options were poor. Interesting to see how different that is.
Galvin had something extra in his boots today. Looked a complete player, despite getting lost on a few runs.
Doeuihi as a playmaking option at centre was really good. Sometimes Galvin would get caught on tackle 4 and how often do we then see everything fall apart? But with doeuihi there to relieve pressure it all looked smoother.
Bula is finding more and more space outside. It's been building this season but against stgeorge early and throughout this game he's on the verge of dominating the game. Still a step here or there off, but it's building.
So good to win at Campbelltown. Crowd was great, loved the opportunity to run onto the field. The long drive home is great after a win. M5 is usually pretty lonely sad time.
A lot of calls played the Raiders into some momentum, but we have to be stronger at just holding on. I still think it comes down to strength in the tackle. Really need the big boys to step up with a big hit to calm things down. It's the sort of thing Olam is good at.
Sam Fainu keeps getting better. Total homer perspective but is there a young second rower out there you'd swap him for? So silky with everything. Ha, and the club got criticism for the 4 year deal. He's already better than Papalii, and it's not close.
