what the Tigers have offered is not tthe market value … but that’s ok … they don’t have to offer the market value on every player …

Roosters are way too good for us physically. Better team 1-17 we wouldn’t have a player outside of Api make their bench.

I know this is just me being sour because we’re terrible and getting pumped…but god I hate how the NRL can expect to have a fair competition when a team like the Roosters can somehow continue to stack their team year after year.

It's a farce but Panthers and Melbourne (in recent years) show you cay stay compliant with the cap and succeed by balancing your squad with superstars, toilers and up-and-coming talents. Unfortunately we have none of the former and we're wasting big money on plodders like Klemmer and Bateman.

Honestly I thought we tried hard that half we are just up against a team with substantially better players. Api is probably the only player we have that would make their starting 13 - maybe Stef. And after winning two straight, I thought it was the right decision to give the young'uns another go with Klem and Bateman on the bench. Probably won't be repeated next week though. Just want them to keep going the full 80.

Only a small mismatch can be explained by having to pay overs for players. But with the Rorters we're expected to believe that internationals get the same pay as rookies and journeymen.

Well LL has had two solid performances in his only two games, the first on debut. I don’t think you replace him just because some other guy is taller
