Klemmer ran 88m off 9 & Utoikamanu 94 off 13..

There are weeks that Bateman isn't great. This wasn't one of them.

Concerningly, Sione Fainu was average. Seyfarth...3 runs for 28m. Other than Pole, our middles were very, very poor.

Bateman always makes errors late in the game when it’s a lost cause, he’s a competitor.

It was a really poor play late in the second half when Bateman threw his arm/hand, lazily, to knock the ball on.

I thought he was trying to milk a penalty and he failed miserably

I can see the frustration with both. Klemmer is cooked tbh and I have no words for him. My issue with Bateman is not effort or attitude it's we are young and need leaders that show the way and regularly including tonight makes a simple mistake that absolutely ruins our momentum or leads to a opp try. I can excuse a young fella making a basic mistake but again his 2 errors 2 Mt and 4 ineffective are just at really bad times.

Thats one of his glowing problems, he tries to milk penalties every time he touches the ball. Very very rarely it works but more often than not goes against him, dropped balls etc.

Glad Beau "Pea Heart" Ryan 2.0 isnt playing for us again, I dont think its in our interest to game ready/experience up other teams players. Fins can take him a little undercooked.

It is funny or maybe not, how people can forgive those errors when players usually perform. A bit different when its the complete opposite and the player is known for being completely shit.
