Hopefully at least one of our wingers finishes the year off strongly and puts their hand up to play firsts next year. Most disappointing aspect of our season for mine.

I've been critical of Charlie Staines most weeks, but I have to admit, he is playing pretty well this season. If he is the #2 winger, he's a decent option.
Turuva is the new winger next season. The re-emergence of Doueihi pretty much seals that for mine.

You are entitled to your opinion. I’d rather not start another season with the worst outside backs in the comp.
Staines needs to bulk up and AD, I don’t think he knows what he is.

Our outside backs are better with better organisation & movement.
What I'm really looking for is better early sets from our wingers (enter Turuva & more from Doueihi). If we can get some momentum generated from the back 5 prior to our forwards getting slugged in the middle, we are in a better position.
Turuva's 150-160m per game are exactly what we miss.

Gordon Tallis reckons it should be Magpie jerseys at Campbo, Balmain jerseys at Leichhardt and Wests Tigers jerseys at away games.
I can run with that, particularly if we stop playing at Leichhardt.

I would not employ him to tutor my kids.

Yeah, that isn’t going backwards at all.
I disagree with this as we are not Wests or Balmain any more but for over 20 years now we are WestsTigers.
All grades should be under the same banner but of course happy to have the magpie and Balmain symbol on the jersey etc.. to unsure they are not lost or forgotten.
We even won a premiership under Weststigers so time to move on

Whether or not he's a moron, why would anyone take advice about Wests Tigers from Gorden Tallis? Bloke has absolutely zero association with the club, either by himself or by association with any of the major players at Tigers.
Could not identify a media personality with less influence or connections at/to Tigers if I tried. Might as well get an opinion on Tigers from Vlad Putin or Britney Spears.
