Currently no one has locked down any positions in our backline, not even Bula though he's closest. But if Turuva is killing it in preseason then i'm fine with Bula slotting in elsewhere.

We need at least 1-2 new signings for the backs too, there's currently not enough first grade ready talent in our squad.

????? There is no magpies and Balmain . They haven’t existed since 1999…. I’ll say it for the billionth time , anyone under the age of 47 has spent more of thier life with the wests tigers in it than not . THAT is NOT YOUNG ! .

Doing it for a month show's he's capable. Its up to the coaching staff to get this level of performance out of him for a full season.

I think both Lobb and Aliomolo have upside. Aliomolo was improving at a good rate before his injury. He gave me the feeling that he was physically underdone, so with a strong off season he could be a genuinely good winger.

Lobb will be very interesting to watch over the next few weeks. He has incredible hands, big body and quicker then we all thought. He made a terrible read in defence in his debut, so he will need to improve that. He also needs to improve his aggression in his carries. If he does that he could easily hold down a wing spot next year giving us good go forwards on our sets and a great aerial threat.

If I was absolutely forced to pick a back 5 right now I'd go

5.Lobb

But that could change in a day

Alaimalo is turning 30 next year, why would we bepinning our hopes on him?. Time for someone younger and fitter to step up. Every single other club finds them, we just have the absolute worst recruitment team in the comp

Albeit I was psyched to have him he’s not quick. Good under the high ball though.
