10 July 1934, radio coverage of the third cricket test match between Australia and England at Old Trafford from radio station 2UE in Sydney, sound effects and all.
The staff are pictured here at the end of the match which ended in a draw.
Decades before the first communications satellites, Australians loved to stay up listening to "live" broadcasts of Test cricket from England.

Before satellite coverage i used to listen on the ABC radio

his 2nd hit song ,he was shake n it,working 4 the local council,reminds me of that Susan Maroney(?) swam the English channel,Quantas gave her a job,she sooked about having 2 actually work,both seemed like go fund me products
