Stefano Utoikamanu #241

Busting his arse?
He was the invisible man from minute 1.
I was watching the game thinking after the first 20 minutes that nobody could possibly ever defend Stef or Klemmer on here again.
I log in this morning and here it is.
There's literally no depth they can sink to without their rusted on supporters waving their pretty pink flags for them.
To be fair, the effort and intent was there for about a minute and a half. Running in hard to make first contact in defence. Missed some tackles, made some. Then he was gassed and the Sharks ran around him to score after a couple of minutes.

Serious question, is there a guy in this thread actually defending Softano? Blaming the backs for his heartless effort? The same guy that said "I'm sick of the excuses being made for our backs"? That same guy is making said excuses for the worst front row performance I've seen in recent memory? Is all that correct?

Maybe. When we had 25 tackles in a row to make it 12-18 and then threw an intercept to their winger, you don’t think that’s a little bit disheartening for a prop who’s busting his arse. I don’t care how bad our forwards are, our backs are not good enough.
If you want to see disheartening, take a look at the first try the Sharks scored. Is Stef disheartening himself?

We need some good news soon, otherwise a lot of supporters are simply going to change clubs, or start following another sport.
3 years in a row.

WOODEN SPOON.

AFTER ALMOST 80 YEARS NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THE TEAM I SUPPORT BE THIS BAD.
Plus our buildup for next year indicates a 4 th spoon is a moral

Where is BAGNF05 with the excuses, this is 3 weeks in a row he has been the worst prop on the field, and he wants $900k, give me a break.
He let in 2 tries and dropped the ball on tackle zero on our first chance inside their 20.
There are plenty on here who hate Moses for what he did, Stef is doing that and some now
Yeah but he isn't related to Benny Elias. Cant believe people don't see he is tanking.

If that's true you'd think Bellamy wouldn't be happy with him NOW.
No one's happy with him
He's needs a good hard look at him self
(I know how hurtful words can be and with mental health these days I'm holding it back big time)
Why hold back mate, that first stint last night was one of the most disgusting displays I have witnessed in a long time.

If he wasn't tanking last night then I can't come up with an explanation of what was happening, because although I believe he has been overrated as far as his efforts on field go for a very long time, surely his form cannot drop off as badly as his has lately without it being a deliberate attempt at sabotage.

If he has already signed with the Storm then if I was Bellyache I would be hoping that this useless pile of excrement is better with a shovel in hand than he is at playing rugby league so that at least he can get some value out of him by farming him out to some labour hire company.

Rip up the offer we have made to him now and if he hasn't already signed with anyone else then he can play out the rest of his current contract stinking it up in KOE cup, if his form is good enough for that level of competition.

As far as I am concerned he is nothing but a stupid, lazy, tanking, fat headed fool bringing disrespect to his family, team mates and supporters, but like you I have to really hold back on what I really do think about the lazy good for nothing bastard.

I'll leave it there because if I was to say what I really think then I think I would be heavily edited or most likely banned because what I'm thinking at the moment is not very pleasant.

There is no defending that effort last night from him …. I have no doubt he is gone now .. another one to slip through their fingers …

Of course I also have little doubt that he will find his best efforts and form at his new club ….and likely go onto a long representative career …..

He is gone with no replacement in sight …certainly won’t make the team any better next season

This is what happens when managers get in the ears of their clients about being worth more and this narrative about playing for a stronger club. At the moment, WTs is a transit lounge for talented young players wanting to play for a stronger team. It is going to take a player like Pole to read the riot act to Utoikamanu and others that this is a club worth fighting and playing for in the NRL. Although Doueihi is returning from serious injury, defending for a man of his size should be straightforward. He needs to lead from the front in defence to inspire his younger teammates.
