Far away from what?Anyone expecting Richo to turn this place around in one year is dreaming. We’ve got the youngest team in the NRL, some great players coming here next year . We aren’t far away.

Well not exactly. The Warriors managed to recruit a top 4 roster in a space of a season after being on the back of some serious floggings in 22.You could be right. Results like tonight are not good for recruiting.
We are at the stage of the season where the score card can be shown. Sadly, it is a -C . For the club, the coach and the players. The occasional win is as good as it is going to get. I wonder if it has now become our benchmark, and the best we can hope for. Actually, I don't wonder...I am simply just in denial! ;-)
One would have to be a very loyal Benji supporter if they think a rookie coach with no prior coaching history was what this club needed to resurrect itself . At worst if we are stuck with what we have maybe a co coaching role with Benji and Morris should be considered for rest of season . I l know Morris is there as an assistant but does he have any influence in the team strategy
Alas, this season has shown Benji needs more time and I hope he can see that and recommend to the club that he should swap roles with Morris and keep cleaning out the underperformers in the squad and coaching staff. One would have to be a very loyal Benji supporter if they think a rookie coach with no prior coaching history was what this club needed to resurrect itself . The NRL desperately needs to retain the Wests Tigers to help those teams that are down on form because if it wasn't for us how else would those teams be able to play back into form. You'd think the NRL would step in and say you have x amount of time to improve by x margin.... What other organisation would put up with the basket case that is us.
Of course we must be making them coin... That's all I can put it down to
And I'm at a loss as to those members forking out thou$and$ year after year when they see performance like this tonite... I dunno I couldn't do it when I see some of our players not giving a damn
Minus C? I think you’re being very generous there Tigerheart. More like an F, a big fat F for the club’s entire existence barring the back end of one season when Moses came back and parted the Red Sea!We are at the stage of the season where the score card can be shown. We can only contine to say what we've all said since 2005. The sad reality is that this team is just a reserve grade outfit, mascherading as first graders, and a club that is content with just being part of the show, but never as an active participant, more like an extra in a movie, needed to make up the numbers but that's about it.
I am sick of hearing they are putting in, they train well, the junior system..heard it all before. I remain a supporter in spirit, but the hard reality is that it will take a very long time, and possibly not even as the West TIgers, until this is turned around. Needs a HUGE change, from top to bottom.
Just not sure we'll ever be capable. We certainly haven't for nearly the last 20 years.
There’s no shame in conceding, and I think that’s what Benji needs to do. It isn’t his fault he was plunged into this mess. He needs to drop back to assistant coach, with an experienced coach coming in to mentor him. It’s hard to imagine that anyone associated with the game in any form could have endorsed the coaching strategy they went with …
Benji is the closest thing to a legend the club has … I hope this doesn’t impact too much on his legacy … but I don’t think it’s going to end well….
Unfortunately I think that Benji wants to continue as coach. We have champ, what good has it done!! No good coach wants to come anywhere near us, that’s why Benji got the job. That’s why we needed to take Flanagan when we had the chance. Now he wouldn’t come here. If someone like Arthur is available we need to take the opportunity but don’t really think he would take the gig!
Whose fault is it?Sure, but it's still not his fault.
