Just watched Annerslys explanation and support of Appis sin binning, what a joke, and the media in attendance have no idea didn't question anything. Oh he made sure to open the session by explaining how important it was to support the referees.
He showed 3 camera angles (not one from inline with the incident, apparently we don't have cameras at the ends of the field) the one that was supposed to be from behind was at an angle that made apps look like he was a metre to the side, and annersley makes comment that you can't argue that angle. one explanation about apps right foot almost inline with the player playing the balls right foot so clearly the left has to be further across, even though it shows its almost behind his right and as the video goes on his right foot goes further across infant of the play the ball.
then he stated that if that wasn't enough in the laws it says a marker can't jump around and interfere with the dummy half by slapping at the ball / arm (im paraphrasing), so sin bin any way.
no talk or questions of the sharks player stepping to the left off the mark (I find this as one of the biggest blights on the game) and no talk or questioning about the fact that the dummy half runs from dummy half thus making him self available to be tackled and appi's arms wrap after the initial contact making a tackle attempt.
I would love to sit in on ask some of these experts some questions one day just to se how they could diplomatically answer them.
Sorry but that pxxxxxx me off ….. ahhh I mean, upsets me greatly, Vent Over
