he ticks literally every single box, but let’s face it. apart from being Bomber’s nephew, why on earth would he come here?Teig Wilton
I will repeat. No player we have ever signed north of 30 has been worth a damn.no. no more washed up middle forwards bending the cap out of shape. opt for the battler.
Every time I watch Manly play, they play better when he’s on the field.Ethan Bullemor has done nothing since leaving Brisbane
We tried to get him last year or year before he knocked us back he ain’t coming hereBeen thinking Tyson Frizell might be more their style …ticks a lot of boxes of what they tend to chase in the market
Luke Laulilli will soon be able to do anything that Tesi Niu can do and I’m not expecting Luke to reach any great heights.Niu is as slow as a wet week
Move quickly , ur kidding all he’s done is move people on ( yes they need to go ) but u can’t deplete ur forward pack without bringing in replacementswe’ll miss Papali’i but moving him on was opportunistic. Samuela does twice the job on half the cash and ultimately it was the right call from that point of view.
our back row depth is shocking and it’s worse now that Bateman is gone, but his actions on and off field have been atrocious. you can’t have a player openly undermining the coach with younger players within earshot. we’ll find value in the market somewhere. Shaun Lane for instance is a player that may be sold by Parramatta to free up cap space. it’s just a matter of waiting for the opportunity to rear it’s head.
don’t lose faith in Richo mate. silence is golden. he would be working incredibly hard to turn this around, and doing it in quiet allows him to move quickly. he’ll fix it, he just needs time.
No pun intended.Luke Laulilli will soon be able to do anything that Tesi Niu can do and I’m not expecting Luke to reach any great heights.
I agree, Olam has been a breath of fresh air in the game he's played.A lot of real hard guys on this forum. Olam has played injured all year but has still torn in regardless. Belting people and charging headlong into defenders with no self preservation.
Still not as hard as the tough guys here.
Is there anything to confirm that this is the case?I think if Olam doesnt want to take the best and easiest method to try to fix his knee injury/ies for whatever reason, if true, the club should see to either medically retire him or crease his contract

He has said his strategy is to work on those replacements toward the back end of the season.Move quickly , ur kidding all he’s done is move people on ( yes they need to go ) but u can’t deplete ur forward pack without bringing in replacements

“You keep pouring into the bucket and then something pops out. Greg Inglis has popped out in the past for me, Ben Te’o popped out around Christmas and so did Jaydn Su’A. Clubs get in trouble with their cap. You have to take your time.” As Richo said clubs get in trouble with their cap & you never know which player might become available because of it. I'm sure no one expected AFB to suddenly request a release from the Warriors last year.Move quickly , ur kidding all he’s done is move people on ( yes they need to go ) but u can’t deplete ur forward pack without bringing in replacements
Nephew of John Morris. Off contract come Nov 1 for '25. Sharks don't often release early though.Teig Wilton
That's what I kept hearing about Doueihi as well.Niu is as slow as a wet week
U sure ur not a politician.“You keep pouring into the bucket and then something pops out. Greg Inglis has popped out in the past for me, Ben Te’o popped out around Christmas and so did Jaydn Su’A. Yep, I’d be looking at contracted forwards and wingers in teams whose coach is going to come under pressure. When the top eight is realised we all know there will be nine coaches who have underachieved. That’s when the player moves will come.“You keep pouring into the bucket and then something pops out. Greg Inglis has popped out in the past for me, Ben Te’o popped out around Christmas and so did Jaydn Su’A. Clubs get in trouble with their cap. While this year hasn't been good, his defence is STILL strong & I think with a couple more meatheads around him- he's not a liability.I would leave Klemmer off that list. He stands up for himself by getting an angry face a yelling, never by physically standing up for himself.
When we have been smashed this year, it's the bullying of our forwards that has been the most frustrating part. Weak in contact, meek in defence, no dominance.first off we have to be realistic about where we’re at. not many players are going to come across so we’re going to have to try and offer medium term security to those off contract, or to try and attain players looking for first grade opportunities.
Cronulla have more middle forwards than god. Oregon Kaufusi has a mutual option for 2025 and is therefore worth having a chat to, and Toby Rudolf has links to the Richardson family. Royce won’t come here given Moses is his manager, but Jack Williams is off contract and would be a smart acquisition.
Mat Croker’s off contract at Newcastle and is a high workrate type that I think we need. Hetherington is a huge risk and while I’d prefer to stay away, we may have no choice. Bunty Afoa brings strike off the pine and is currently well down the pecking order at the Warriors. I’d be enquiring there.
I’d be looking at giving Porter a full time deal for next year as well given he does a job and has a stack of NSW Cup experience.
Horsburgh’s a good shout, but I’m fairly sure he wants to head back to QLD.
England really doesn’t have anyone right now that fits what we need. guys like Knowles, Dupree, Lees and George Delaney all get spoken about but there are question marks around all of them, mainly because they’re quite small in stature and we already have guys like Pole, Sione and Kit in and around the squad.
quite frankly none of this is glamourous but this is the nature of the game. Richardson will push for players to sign on for 2026 come November 1 and pursue early releases, but we still need to cover for 2025. unfortunately the names I mentioned above are probably the realistic expectations we can have.
