Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Source in the know, not his father.
I've been told his ambition is to be part of the club's rebuilding. Joey's message to Galvin resonated. He doesn't want to run away. He's also excited to partner up with Luai.
The talk of him leaving is all based on what happened earlier this year, which was from his management and not from Lachlan himself. There's no basis to it, yet everyone's latched onto it like its gospel.

There are a lot of tigers fans catastrophising.
Scott Sattler had a good piece on SEN where he also see's all this movement as a positive.

This is a PROPER rebuild. Not like the castles built on sand we've wasted the last 15 years rebuilding.
Watch how Galvin gets excited when we score a rare try. That is not someone who wants out.

its crazy how much a talk can give you confidence. Before listening to the poddy I was really concerned about the club and Benji, but listening to Shane is super refreshing. Gives me absolute confidence in our our future and where we are going. When I listened to Pascoe or Bandelli I was still concerned but Richo knows what hes doing.
Glad someone believes it. So easy the talk.

Given the type of operator Richo is, and the fact he keeps emphasising that if you will hear signings from the Tigers first, you'd have to assume this new signing is all but over the line. Otherwise he wouldn't say anything.

Perhaps the reason for all this mis-information around To'o is due to the fact that someone has leaked it to a jurno and the jurno has retracted as the manager and Panthers want to ensure the deal goes through and Richo doesn't pull out of the deal over the leak.

You might want to read what Ive said before you write your comments. I’ve said he’s one to watch - and probably someone we should have looked at signing. The tigers don’t really have a track record of signing players that are athletic, tough and have good character in the last 10 years.

Not once did I say he’s the finished product. I’ve said at a youth level he was better than Suaalii, he was better than Jorgenson. i know because I saw it. Jorgensens manager has been playing roosters off against wallabies to get a better contract. Lancaster didn’t do that because he doesn’t want to play those games.

He went off the radar a little after school as Rugby Australia put him the 7s to develop him, as they do with 1-2 players each year.

You say he needs to develop? What do you think the wallabies coach is doing by debuting him? If you want him to develop maybe you should stop being so negative about a kid who has played one when you clearly have no insight in to the background of the situation.
He ain’t on suaalii’s level, you sound a bit upset ? I’m not being negative, I’m just telling the truth. He’s rubbish

Ch9 - Informal discussions about winger seeking an early release from his contract. WTs were mentioned as a destination but had not had conversation with To'o according to Richardson.. Also that WTs want players who want to fight for the club. Richardson said Utoikamanu didn't want to be part of it. No other club was mentioned.

15 wins in 4 years. Can you blame him?
