I might be reading too much into what Richo said but he said we have 2m war chest and he stated letting Bateman go was to create more cap space. He said every penny counts and sound like he has a target or targets ready but needs every penny to get them. It's like he has a number he needs to reach and is trying to add some big names with it.. Could be right and that's why we haven't extended certain players yet.

Unrelated but remember when Sheensy said he saw Hastings as a lock and a lot of people lost it? Well who knew a guy who’s won a premiership and coached internationally knew a thing or two about rugby league. Jackson Hastings has been dropped to reserve grade and been placed into…. Yep you guessed it: Lock.

I don’t know, he’s made some pretty good calls with Galvin and Samuela, even Reuben Porter to an extent. I can’t think of many other coaches beside Wayne that’d give an 18 year old the 6 jersey. I also would like to know who you’d swap Faataape for?

Since our NSW cup squad just got abused 64-6 I highly doubt anyone in there could come in and do a better job. Tell me how many of these names excite you : Faaletino Tavana, Nick Mougious, Josh Feledy and Declan Casey. Cause those are your other options pretty much.

He’s a new nrl player what Staines excuse?? Thought Faataape had a great game, finally showed some more beating his guy one in one. Defence need work but attack was much better. I think bunji is the problem with his lack of defence work in the Staines side! It’s not like it’s new that all the try’s are down Staines side!

I wouldn’t call that a masterstroke, we’ve run last with close to the worst attack in the comp.
