Runs hard & direct at least.Reagan Campbell Gillard given permission to talk to other clubs . What's people's thoughts on him ? I'm not totally against it if the tigers had a crack, pretty handy replacement for big stef

But YOU as an old ex-Magpie supporter should remember 1998-99 right?
Fan of RCG....Always been a fan of his. I'd be keen, but for no more than 2 years.
Shaun lane , same build as samual , but has a great off load , he would be great for usThe Bateman situation for next year is still confusing.
His latest statements sound relatively positive about returning.
IF HE DOES RETURN- he's on the books, so where do you play him? I think it has to be #13. If we can't move Bateman on, I think the club should try to add a dynamic back rower like Sam Fainu (like Fainu- I didn't say same quality etc). I'm noticing teams getting bigger metres out of wide running forwards than middles. Also, having that dynamic threat running off Galvin & Luai on the edges makes our shifts quite dangerous. Ideally- a guy that likes running the inside angle.
He would be 30 by the time he arrives which means we will be paying him superannuation for his retirement.Shaun lane , same build as samual , but has a great off load , he would be great for us
I can remember plenty of games since 1908, some good some bad. Why 98/99? How about 1963 when Wests won 3 out of 4 against St.George. Lost the grand final under dodgy circumstances. Won the Amco Cup. Etc.No - it was Balmain/Wests Tigers as per the OP

Pole is one of the outstanding young props in the NRL. Richardson does his negs behind closed doors so we have no information about which players the club is speaking with at present. Matt Croker from the Knights' is a very good ball player and one I'd like the club to sign. Jess Colquhoun from the Sharks is another good young prop but getting him away from Fitzgibbon would be difficult. No as he is better than any prop we have and it also looks like we can’t sign any other prop of quality , he’s better than the loose cannon from Canberra on offer and as good as Sifiiti at Newcastle so we need to replace Stef , he is way better than Stef
Johannssen is one of them obviously, and Sione Fainu will definitely be another. it’s just whether there’s any others we don’t know about.I wonder when these resignings will be announced 🤔
I am hoping it's Pole but will be let down like normal so not getting excited.
Never. No one's coming and Richo doesn't know how to tell us. ✌️I wonder when these resignings will be announced 🤔

Because it was a response to a question whether the JV clubs had EVER been worse on the field than this year - so 1998-99 Magpies was an obvious recent reference point.I can remember plenty of games since 1908, some good some bad. Why 98/99? How about 1963 when Wests won 3 out of 4 against St.George. Lost the grand final under dodgy circumstances. Won the Amco Cup. Etc.
Then Manly bought most of our players, Newtown pinched Tommy. Curtains.
If you want to talk about a club in trouble, let's talk about Parramatta.
Yes, please extend my Pole Tigers.I wonder when these resignings will be announced 🤔

The centres outside Galvin are too dumb to read the play coming up; or too slow to get in a position to exploit an opening..............or both! Galvin is way in front of them, mentally and physically. They play catch up, maybe? By the time the penny drops for our centres, the opposition is also ready to snuff it out.Needs to also straighten the attack.
He looks like Benji at times, running across the field and taking the space of his outside men.
I will agree he has been good. With better players around him & a coach that can develop him he will be a star.
What negative attitude, for a two year deal he fits what we need , the dogs gave signed bloke close to that age and how are they doing . If the club thinks like u , no wonder we are in the mess we are . Some times u get shafted and others times it’s gold , I know we don’t have the best luck with players coming , but Kane is a hole runner who can offload and with Laui and Galvin feeding him I think he just what we needHe would be 30 by the time he arrives which means we will be paying him superannuation for his retirement.

Their defence is just as slow to get in position and snuff out any attack. We desperately need some quality centres to help quell the inevitable tries. Trustworthy centres that can make the tackle, so the winger is not left in no mans land trying to defend 2 players.
