Thinks Sezer is in trouble for his On Reports too.In the press conference, Benji said he would've loved to give Galvin a rest but he doesn't have any other options.
Interesting statement.
Lol they all did some good things, and some terrible things.Whoa fixating?! The 4 of them got the biscuits @ Cambo
He definitely has a confidence issue in wanting to catch high balls and if he is to continue playing fullback he needs to fix, but he’s still only 18y.o, so plenty of time to fine tune his game.Any fullback who let's 4 kicks bounce is not NRL standard. Not even Flegg standard fullback play tonight. He did a couple if decent things, and I like that he's busy, but he has to catch every ball that comes near him on the full. He could have caught these balls, instead he stood still and just watched them bounce next to him. Every time the ball bounced it took us 5+ mins to recover.
He shouldn't have been thrown in the deep end. He needs time to develop his skills and size, nothing wrongly with that for a 19 year old, it's normal, he should be doing this out of the limelight. If he's in first grade he's up for the criticism that comes with being a first grader
We played a 4/10 game. How bad are Souths then? I'm in Hobart and didnt see the game but any win against Souths is a good win. I'll take it happily they are all worth 2.
I think back a few years and one of our best juniors, sorry Rooster's junior Tedesco, was shaky under the high ball. Mason will have to work hard on this aspect of his game. The Panthers fullback, Edwards, had woeful hands when he first made his debut.Heath Mason reminds me of an early Ben Barba. Lots of energy, can bust tackles, has a bit of x factor about him, but boy is he shaky under the high ball. Woeful almost.
It’s a poor statement from a head coach. He definitely has options if he feels that way.In the press conference, Benji said he would've loved to give Galvin a rest but he doesn't have any other options.
Interesting statement.
The Panthers had the right idea in only playing him for 40-50 minutes each game to preserve his body and get the best out of him.Lol 15 tackles is not good enough.
He is the worst defender in the comp.
Missing quite a few as my mate keeps telling me... Tatola.. Graham.. Johnston.. Mitchell ArrowWe played a 4/10 game.
Souths were unbelievably poor. They deserve the spoon with their roster.
Bud and Naden have been totally wiped !In the press conference, Benji said he would've loved to give Galvin a rest but he doesn't have any other options.
Interesting statement.
He had a go, which was great. He showed us what a fullback that's busting his ass can offer, and highlights the weakness from Bulas complacency and low energy output. But he cannot allow balls to bounce. He did it 4 times. That's schoolboy errors and undoes the good work completelyMason can really hold his head up high imo. Tried hard all night, was zippy and was great to see a fullback get us on the front foot charging back hard from kick returns.
He's 19 in pretty much his debut game in a spoon team. The errors were always going to be there. Thought he was strong in D as well
Sione Fainu impressed tonight. I like what I see in him. Hopefully he can develop into the prop we need him to be.
Who are his other options? Bud has done zip for us in any capacity and there’s no point swapping one 18 year old for another. It’s a poor statement from a head coach. He definitely has options if he feels that way.
I’ll concede to you on the bouncing balls but loved the way he ran the ball with vigour. He had a go, which was great. He showed us what a fullback that's busting his ass can offer, and highlights the weakness from Bulas complacency and low energy output. But he cannot allow balls to bounce. He did it 4 times. You spelled Seyfarth wrongThey are too dumb for words. Sezer is one of the dumbest players I have ever seen.
Next week, Staines to fullback and Tupou to the wing?Any fullback who let's 4 kicks bounce is not NRL standard. Not even Flegg standard fullback play tonight. He did a couple if decent things, and I like that he's busy, but he has to catch every ball that comes near him on the full. That’s not true.Who are his other options? Bud has done zip for us in any capacity and there’s no point swapping one 18 year old for another.
