I think we’re going to have an action packed offseason. It will be interesting to see if there’s any involvement from the NRL?

Get some proper Businessmen on the board, Some experts in a few different Fields....
Even Stapleton, how does he meet the Matrix Metre...
I've only ever known him to be a Board Member - Whatever he does outside it, It can't be a very big deal.....

Sure didn't. Called for his resignation from both boards.

If Stapleton has made his position on the board untenable, I wonder who could be a viable replacement from the Balmain board? Steve Lavers or the surgeon Dr Leslie Glen or the return of James Myatt??
 
Board is still leaking and the articles regarding a supposed BS break from Balmain from the WT point to leaks subsequent all review recommendations having being signed off by the board.

So why the treachery, deception and destabilisation?

Damn. Just heard it. The problem with Hagipentalis is you don't know what the truth is or if it's just grievances. Some of the words he used were very emotionally charged.

... and of course Stapleton isn't going to let Lee know ahead of time for any potential ousting. Does Lee expect to be consulted on it? and why would Danny be the person? He holds little to no power.

It's in his statement why. He's concerned with the direction of HBG. Plenty of material here that we've spoken about that might raise those concerns. I dare say Leo has been the source of the leaks too.

I'm not sure where you're seeing "all review recommendations" being signed off by the board? I think Richo mentioned about the review commencement being approved by HBG, not the recommendations.

Richo said 90% have been implemented, but the last 10% are the big ticket items. We're not over the line yet.

Richardson points to all review recommendations approved by the board......Clutz is still finalising shareholder deed before things can proceed further from a technical standpoint.

And it's not just Leo but Danny.

So why would our JV partners raise issues when things ae proceeding as planned?

Besides why not keep it in house?

Yes I found Stapleton's leaked email strange too MM when you would think he would know the status of the deed.

UNLESS only HBG & Richo are privy to the contents of the draft stakeholder deed with the lawyers or Stapleton thinks HBG hold too much power within the deed. Just odd!

😂 That’s the problem, the WT is currently owned by a consortium, playing with other peoples money. The coach and CEO are answerable to a whole bunch of tinpots who are constantly counting the numbers relative to their own survival.
our road to success lies in simplifying the inter office communication.
We need two Billionaires to step up to the plate as leaders in a trustworthy chain of command and the NRL to ask HBG to reapply for their licence to continue with the same rubbish.
Personally, I’m hoping to see an end to the stupidity this offseason.

Was a big bit of spin for Danny to get called out on!!

I hold no allegiance to any of them, WA might be paying the bills - But they've also lead us to where we are....
Single handedly almost (There's no Balmain left to blame)
Hard to believe any of them....

Not at all - You only have to look at the last 35 years in business for them to see where they're headed.

It’s the final throws of weak men clutching to power . Whether it’s Stapleton , Burgess or whoever , these people are no o longer going to continue to be unaccountable for thier actions , and as such are using the media to push whatever agenda .
Also Richo mentioned the “F-wits” who care more about thier blazer than the club. He could have been referencing a particular person , or Balmain , or all of them .
Maybe they were l told to STFU or else .
Maybe it’s as simple as X person doesn’t like Y .
It wouldn’t be the first time with these muppets.
Maybe it’s Lee !!! Someone forwarded him an email , and he’s stirring shit ! Who honestly knows

Maybe have a listen again. It's more about the review being approved thus far.

Keep in mind that the board composition was different a month ago, so the prior approvals were a different bunch of people. So that movement may have triggered concern given there was no need for change, unless they wanted different decisions made.

Again, no one really cares about Balmain. They have no influence or power. If they were to pull out of this JV, I'm pretty sure HBG would just take their share... and I'm an old balmain supporter.

If HBG does the right thing as per Richardson on those last 2 recommendations. All this becomes an issue of the past and we'll grow into a powerhouse
