Well saidEach to their own, but I'll never understand the hate that people have when a player leaves the club. Maybe some deeply ingrained childhood abandonment issues?
The bloke was one of our juniors who came through the grades, represented Australia and racked up nearly 300 first grade games.
Definitely a career that Woodsy and his family should be proud of.
There’s a Richie line from The 12th Man when he’s talking to Max Walker about Max being in competition with Ken Sutcliffe for a spot on the commentary team, and he says “The selectors are weighing up Ken’s appeal with the female viewers to your appeal with the yobbos and dickheads”. I feel the latter are the ones who would find Woods in any way entertainingFat lump of shit never took a tough carry in his life.
No has a media presence because people like laughing AT him.
Yeah should be proud alright....
The natural justice has made me just about forget about him entirelySome of ya'll need a cuddle.
The fact he never progressed as expected surely makes it easier for you to get over.
So did his team mates.I honestly thought he retired 5 years ago
I watched him playing at Leichhardt a few times and one match in the U20s against the Storm was memorable. He had a running battle with Jesse Bromwich and the Fifita twins were running hit hard as well. He hit the line with great force and stood out as a future Kangaroo as did Andrew Fifita. All three were immensely talented players.Fat lump of shit never took a tough carry in his life.

Totally agree Paws, its a shame it ended the way it did for him unfortunately, and people can say what they like but to play for NSW, and Australia he must have been above average.I watched him playing at Leichhardt a few times and one match in the U20s against the Storm was memorable.
